  3. I did a little more research and felt very confident that it was the Tempe Mission Palms. I went ahead and booked via the Hotwire link, and it is the Tempe Mission Palms. Thanks for providing the hotel lists and for all of your assistance. :)
  4. Used the HOTWIRE link to get onto the site :) Listed as a Hot Rate Boutique Hotel, I'm hoping for Tempe Mission Palms and I THINK that it may be it... Dates are 1/1-1/3 $101 per night in Tempe/ASU area Amenities: Pet Friendly Free Parking Boutique Hotel Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Internet Access Much thanks! :)
  5. Just realized that I never followed up on this. I ended up booking a different property directly. :)
  6. Thank you, unfortunately that is one of the properties I was hoping to avoid. Thank you again for your help :)
  7. Indoor pool, fitness center, pool, Golf nearby, free parking, fitness center, laundry service (self service), accessible for the blind, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible for the deaf, roll in shower, free high speed internet, handicapped parking. I think that's it :)
  8. Started bidding at $41. Went through three re-bids (adding zones w/o a 4*) and won the hotel at $45. Very happy and of course used the PRICELINE link. Thanks!!
  9. I'm seeing a 3* hotel in the St Charles/St Peters area for 8/24-8/26. On the Hotwire hotel list I only see 2.5* in this zone so I was curious what this hotel could be. $67/night Amenities: Free Parking, Free Breakfast, Free Internet Thanks in advance!
  10. 4* Won Bid $55 @ Little America downtown SLC Thanks! I used the PRICELINE link from betterbidding.com!
  11. Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 4 Room Subtotal: $188.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $33.22 (USD) Total Room Cost: $221.22 (USD) I was a lot bummed this property accepted my bid, but that's the risk of Priceline. The hotel rates out at a 4* but a lot of people rate the rooms at a 2*. I'll report back with a review after the trip is over. I used the PRICELINE link for this site.
  12. Just wanted to update that I'm still trying (only doing it a few times a week). I have yet to get a bid accepted but I haven't upped my max bid yet. Still plenty of time. :) I noticed that Peoria/Glendale/Sun City has a 4* listed, does anyone know what it is?
  13. For a little while, I've got time on my hands to keep trying since we don't travel to October. Thanks for your bidding strategy, I'll keep trying it every 24 hours and report back what we end up doing. :)
  14. Thanks! I tried again today using this and didn't have any luck up to $70. I'll try again tomorrow. :)
  15. I'd like to continue trying to get one of the resort level properties in the Phoenix North zone (we wanted to try to stay out of Scottsdale if possible).
  16. Thanks Aaron, I think I'd be willing to go as high as $70 a night for a resort level. Any idea which 4* that is on Hotwire?
  17. I've seen a lot of people getting the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs for $55-$60 a night. I am of course using the PRICELINE link for my bids. I did my first rounds of bidding today without any success. Any tips or just keep trying? Here is what I did today: $50 $53 + add zone $55 + add zone $57 + add zone Close browser $59 $60 + add zone $61 + add zone $62 + add zone
  18. Plans aren't 100% firm yet. However, I'd be more likely to pay over $100 for a resort I'd think, obviously I have some time to test the waters since this wouldn't be until the end of October.
  19. This was a last minute reservation that I forgot to post...hotel had listed rates at $100 night. Parking was very steep imho at $21/night but seem pretty consistent with other hotels downtown. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $46.00 Subtotal: $46.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $13.32 Total Charges*: $59.32
  20. I'm looking for a good bidding strategy, or wondering if I'm just not being realistic about what kind of price I can get for Waikiki beach. I'd like a 4* or Resort property in the beach zone. Dates: 10/29/09 - 11/1/09 I'd like to pay less than $120 a night, realistic or not?
