Thanks for your help! UPDATE: I rebid as stated above and all offers were rejected. I am going to wait a week and bid, splitting my dates of stay. I will let you know how that goes. Cross your fingers!

My goal is the least expensive 3.5* or better for the dates.

I would like to save a minimum of $30 per night. So, my max bid would be $129.

I found the hyatt rate on the hyatt website. It was the lowest rate that they had. I would like to save some money on a hotel if possible. I realize that the Avia being a 4* hotel is a good rate but, if I could get it for a cheaper price; why not? I will make sure to use your PRICELINE link for bidding - Thanks!!

I am going to Savannah from 4/17 to 4/24 and want to stay in the Historic District. I tried bidding through priceline for my stay but have been rejected each time. I started my bid at $85 for 4* hotel and then 3.5* hotel. I moved up my price each day by $5 increments. My last bid was for $110 and I was rejected. FYI- The lowest price on the hotels website for 4* is Avia Hotel $159 and 3.5* is Hyatt $174.30. Do you think I should split up my length of stay in my request to get a better price? (i.e. My original request 4/17-4/24 to new requests of 4/17 - 4/20 and then 4/21-4/24). I know that there is a good chance that I would have to change hotels but, I don't mind that. Or do you think I should just bid higher? I appreciate your imput!
