1. Sorry for the late post but wanted to share the win information regardless as I had difficulty finding comparisons. This was booked the day before and the rate was good during what appeared to be a slow time as rates were low everywhere. However, I would never book a 3 star in this San Bruno airport area again if this hotel is what you get. They were kind enough to provide a room with 2 double beds at check in but this place was a dirty dump and also charged extra for unsecured parking. I will avoid this hotel at all costs in the future as the low rate wasn't worth freaking me out over possible bed bugs as reported by recent reviews. I'm sorry that I don't have a good alternative to recommend for the SFO airport area. I will probably only book 4 star SFO South in the future, but would love to find a lower star clean hotel that provides breakfast in the airport area. room $60 fees $15.17 total $75.17
2. I would like to support better bidding by using the Hawaiian Airlines link but it is not working :( Thank you
3. Greetings All! Needed 1 night for tonight LAX 4* with free airport shuttle. Started at $75, priceline countered at $90, won at $80 with rebids. PL express showing 4* at $87. Rack rate for Westin at $125. rate $80, $98.64 all in Used your PRICELINE link, thank you always.
4. Hey all, just wanted to report that I received this hotel through Hotwire, I needed a room for 4- 2ad 2ch. In a desperate attempt to secure a last minute room i went down to 2.5 stars hoping for the Best Western. Several places near the airport were sold out. I tried priceline first for 3* and 2.5* up to 100 with free rebids. I didn't have time to mess around so did the hotwire thing and didn't realize this place was an option. It's ok, I'll survive. ;) Airport shuttle was preferred in our case. Hope this helps to update the list. Thanks! 5. Just sharing with the board. It seems a tough time to land a priceline room in Waikiki recently. Occupancy is good and rates are high.
6. Hi there, started at $135, received counter offer for $160, raised bid to $140 and won. I am adding this night to a conventional booking. Total with fees $168.08 +$25 resort fee. HOTWIRE showing $237, Hyatt.com $275. Thank you.
7. Thank you, found the gum wall! Westin kindly accommodated the request for 2 double beds with a call ahead. We enjoyed the indoor heated pool and hot tub in the north tower. It is an older hotel in a decent location. It has been remodeled and had nice linens, good beds and decent bathroom. There is a lobby bar and restaurant. Overall a decent hotel.
8. Hi there, reservation made day of check in, hilton seatac won, $55 before taxes/fees
9. Thank u always for this board! Used your PRICELINE link. The city isn't too busy for this night. The other poster's win at $69 for the previous night was helpful! Hopeful that the hotel will accommodate a family of 4. Thanks! $92 with taxes, fees
10. Thank you for the helpful reply. I haven't tried HOTWIRE before. It may be a great alternative.
11. Thank you for the helpful info. I wonder if this would also apply if stated "free parking" and "free breakfast" are not included "free" anymore.
12. wow, great rate for a nice property. i will be staying there in july but booked through regular channels, i didn't think to book through HOTWIRE. it's great to know that this hotel is possible at these rates. i noticed that an amenity listed was free parking, while i am sure that they now charge for parking. i am interested if your HOTWIRE booking will include the free parking as stated, would you please report back if possible. thank you.
13. I think you got a great deal! Especially considering the number of nights during a fairly busy time. The Hyatt Regency is convenient if you are arriving via bart from the airport and is also close to the ferry terminal/waterfront area with easy streetcar access to the wharf. Not far from the union square shopping area either. Great win! I will be hoping to snag the same deal this October. Have a great trip!
14. Got a counter offer for $81 after bidding $70, won in next bid. It seems to me that early morning may be a good time to try priceline after the computers have purged cancelled reservations? I was having a tough time with this busy time period for disneyland even for a last minute booking. It also seems to help by breaking up dates if you don't mind moving, otherwise you will mostly likely pay the highest night's rate for your booking period. Not sure that moving is worth it though, especially for family travel to disneyland. I only broke up my dates because I was afraid everything was booked solid and I would have a hard time getting anything. Won Doubletree Orange for $65 1 night June 28, 2012 Anyone know if it makes any difference to join the hilton honors or spg club with a priceline stay?
15. I may have bid a bit high, got it on first try after trying in vain for tonight 6/27/12. Best Available Rate showing at $109. Unable to extend stay with 1 day add a night earlier check-in feature, hotel site shows sold out. Still trying for 1 night tonight 6/27/12 in Disneyland South 3.5*, have gone up to $73 with no luck. Didn't want to go much higher because of likely crowne plaza resort fee add on. Also tried for DL Anahaeim South 4* up to $80.
16. Had been trying for 2 days for a 2 night weekend booking 7/15-7/17. Received counter at $160 for $200, rebid up to $180 without success. Decided to check days individually. Received counter for Friday 7/15 at $150 for $175, won at $155. Received counter for Saturday 7/16 at $160 for $200, won at $185 Hoping to combine reservations at check-in, unable to do so via phone through 1-800 reservations. I had been seeing others winning at a great $150 with advance reservations, but I could not get it. This property has a 72 hour cancellation policy so it is probably best to book in advance, as the rates seem to be higher closer to check-in. Hotwire was showing this property at $266 and hyatt website at $411. I still got a great rates though! Looking forward to this stay! Thanks!

18. Had a long flight delay with husband and two young kids. We chose to stay a night in the city instead and fly out the next day. Won Vintage Park on Spring/5th at the airport using phone app. Very nicely accommodated early check-in and upgraded to 2 queen bed room. Thanked them for the nice stay and upgrade but got a bit of attitude at check-out with no incidentals and priceline room. Would be nervous to stay here again if needing 2 beds, possible upcharge. Took light rail from seatac to university and hiked up 2 hills. Would have been a farther but level walk from westlake? Clean small boutique hotel. Not my cup of tea. Sorry for the late post, as I was unable to do so until now.
19. Had been trying for a while with 1 free rebid up to $65 with no luck, finally won at a good price 2 days before check-in. whew! The Seatac doubletree was very nice. They kindly accommodated my request for 2 beds at check-in. Nice outdoor heated pool/hot tub. Lobby computers available for printing boarding passes. Room service breakfast was nice. They use a large shuttle bus and this is a large property, saw a lot of southwest airline crew. Used hotel shuttle to airport for seattle light rail to downtown $5.50 pp r/t. I would want to stay there again. They have a coffee stand, lounge, restaurant, nightclub, room service, small sitting areas in lobby, 1 tower and other smaller 3 story buildings. I would ask for room closer to lobby. Sorry for the late post, I was unable to do so.
20. Tried over several days, bid in $5 increments from $65 - and finally won at $85. Received an add $20 more offer to my $75 bid, which I declined. So happy to read a helpful tip from another user and added Kirkland (max 2.5*), didn't know I had a free rebid for Lake Union area, I was only bidding once a day and stressing a little. Also, saw other posts of winning bids at $85. Wanted to connect a Residence Inn Lake Union that I could only get for one night 10/24/10 ($65) and wasn't able to add a night through PRICELINE. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $75.00 ($75+$10 bonus cash/3 night min = $85) Subtotal: $225.00 Taxes & Fees: $47.34 Total Charges*: $272.34 Thank you fellow posters, this is my first trip booking with PRICELINE and I was a little stressed! :) Traveling with Husband and 2 little ones 4 and 1, hope I made the right choice with Lake Union area opposed to Downtown Seattle 4* (Ren/West), will follow up with review!
