So, any idea what this 5* MTC hotel is?

Yes but I am actually trying to get the Plaza Hotel. It is the only one you have listed under Hotwire 5* in MTC, but the amenities are totally different. Can you tell if is The Plaza?

We will be checking in on the 14th. Had to ask the wife.

I am trying to book the Plaza Hotel for my anniversary in June. You have the Plaza as the only 5* on Hotwire for Midtown Central, but Hotwire has a 5* in MTC with a totally different set of amenities listed. Any idea what this hotel is?

This is likely The Moderne and it is on W 55th St. I just booked it through HOTWIRE for 12/9 -12/12 for $242 per night. After looking around at other sights it looks as if I saved about $60.00 per night.

Unfortunately I am going to NY for the same dates 12/4/12/11 and I have been bidding for at least a week. I have bid 4 star and 3.5 star for all Manhattan areas and 3 star for all areas except downtown. I have bid up to 250.00 and still been rejected.

I don't think that is going to happen. I've been bidding for 2 weeks for a 3 star and have gone up to $200.00 with no luck, for the 9th-12th

I am pretty flexible its just that it would be nice to not have to change hotels mid stay, but ir I can get it cheaper then I am all for it. I won't be trying Priceline because there will be 4 of us. I am looking for something in Midtown or Times Square (my wife and kids want TS) 3.5 stars or better. I can get the Marquis for the additional days for $259.00 per night but would love to save a few hundred bucks.

We are going on vacation in NYC from June 14th through the 22nd and would like to stay at the Marriott Marquis. Is there anyway I can ensure this on HOTWIRE or do I just have to take my chances/

I have booked a room at the Marriott Marquis in NYC from 6/18 to 6/22. I got a really good deal throught the Marriott Rewards Program. We have now decided to go early and I want to book the room from the 6/14 through 6/22. Is there a way on Hotwire to ensure I will get the Marriott Marquis or am I just going to have to shoot blindly. I cannot get the deal through Marriott rewards for those dates.
