  8. Just wanted to update on my stay at the Amsterdam Court hotel........at first I was not that happy with the hotel based on the reviews that I read. However, after having just stayed there I can say that I totally loved the place!!! The staff was super nice and friendly. Some of the rooms are a bit on the smaller side but the place is super clean and nice. I also enjoyed the rooftop. It has an excellent location so do feel safe on getting this hotel if you see it on Hotwire ;)
  9. After 3 months of trying to find a good deal through PRICELINE and HOTWIRE I finally got one today!!! I used the link on this site for HOTWIRE and won the Amsterdam Court Hotel from 8/23 through 8/27 at $139 per night. It has a 2.5 star rating and it showed the amenities as only "Boutique" and "Hotel High-Speed Internet Access". The area said: "Times Square - Theatre District area hotel". I put a bid for 4 rooms with 2 adults in each room. Rate per night:$139.00 Nights: 4 Rooms:4 Taxes:$510.56 Occupancy tax:$0.00 Fees: $67.90 Subtotal:$2,802.46 Trip total: $2,802.46 Regular rates for dates we are going are between $179 and $209. We saved about $150 per room in total. I'm not that thrilled about the hotel but I'm very happy with the price I paid for the location :) Cheers!
  10. Dman.......thank you very, very much for the information. I greatly appreciate it :) Thereauare........sorry for posting my question here. I was unaware that I should of started my own thread about it. Now I know for next time :) Cheers to all! J
  11. Hi, I've tried getting 4 rooms at a 5 star hotel in the North Strip area and put all the way to $135 per night from 6/9-6-12 and have been unsuccessful. Could you please share the promo code to get the Wynn at $140??? Thank you!!!!
  12. Hi, the listing showed only "high speed internet" as the amenity.
  13. Hi, it was really hard finding a hotel for a good deal on the dates I was looking for. Ended up going to a 2* and got the Econolodge across from the Florida Mall. I'm ok with it but went to website and could of booked thru them directly for $44.99 and I got it for $40 so not much of a savings. Cheers!
  14. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $35.00 Subtotal: $70.00 Taxes & Fees: $16.88 Total Charges*: $86.88 Tried first $32 and was decliened for a 3* and a 2.5* in the Lake Buena Vista area. I then bid $35 and was accepted on the first try. I'm very happy with this hotel as it has transportation to the Disney parks and I'm going to Epcot's food and wine fest and will probably be a bit tipsee, lol! They don't have a resort fee :) , free internet, breakfast and parking.
  15. Thanks for posting and sharing your result :) I'm looking for a resort in Lake Buena Vista as well so I called the Hyatt to see how much is their "resort fee" in case I win that hotel as well. So it doesn't take you by surprise it is $20 per night :-/ Self parking is free and valet is $20. I might bid and of course I will use the PRICELINE link on this site :) Thanks again!
  16. Thanks for the link but I had checked there first before posting my question and didn't see the area of Aventura in there. Did I miss it? I just checked again and don't see it in there. Thanks again J :-)
  17. Hi! I'm wondering if anyone has ever gotten a winning bid on PRICELINE for the area of Aventura in Miami, FL? and if you could please let me know which one, star level, price, etc....... or on HOTWIRE. Thank you in advance! Cheers!!!!
  18. I've been trying to book a hotel from 11/20-11/23/09 in MTE and have been unsuccessful as well :-( I'm thinking that maybe closer to the day we might be able to find something. Anything going on that weekend????
  19. Hi! After bidding $22 and a $24 for a 2 star hotel and having them rejected, I tried $30 and got a 2 star hotel in the Universal- Sea World Orlando, FL area. I tried $30 for a 3 star and received an offer from priceline to add $8 and would of gotten the 3 star for $38. My priority was the price and not the hotel star so I tried the 2 1/2 star for $30 and got rejected and then tried the 2 star and got the Comfor Suites Universal South. Total price for 2 nights with fees was $75.44. Plus I checked and the hotel has a $2.50 per night "resort fee" ( I hate these little sort of surprise charges!). I've gotten the Comfort Suites Universal South before and it's ok. They have free breakfast, pool, refrigerator, microwave in the rooms and free wireless internet service. What's a bid weird about this hotel is that is right next to an X-ray, Sonogram clinic :-/ Not sure why I find it weird but I do! lol And of course I used the PRICELINE link on BetterBidding.com to make my travel reservation. Thanks again for creating this site. I love it!!! J :-)

  21. Hello! I'm writting in here because I didn't find a place to put the winning bids on car rentals (hope it's ok to put in here). I just bid on PRICELINE for an economy car rental in Kauai, HI from March 26th thru the 28th. I first put $22 and priceline came back and said that no one accepted it but if I increased the price they would search for me again right away. I then put $24 per day and got a winning bid :) I got Hertz. Then I put in a bid for March 28th thru the 31rst in Honolulu and got a winning bid right away for $19 per day on an economy car (they might of accepted less but I'm happy with it). I used the link on this site to go to PRICELINE :) Cheers! J :-)
