  1. We "won" the Hyatt Regency at the last minute (the day before arrival) for the great price of $145. I'm guessing we were able to get such a good price because it was so last minute. We really enjoyed our stay. The only downside to this property is that it is approx a mile to the Whaler Village, but we enjoy walking and it's such a beautiful walk along the beach sidewalk that that was fine for us. The pools were heated and their pool slide was great. The rooms are very spacious as well.
  2. I just "won" a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal through Priceline for Feb 14-16. It's 3.5* in Union Square West-Nob Hill. The hotel is the Serrano. Prices were really steep for this holiday weekend, so that's the best I could do at this late date.

  4. Hello - This is strange, but this hotel shows no amenities. Just a 4 out of 5 Trip Advisor Review. All I know is that it's a 4* Hotel in Barcelona -Ramblas North - Ciutat Vella available on 9/13-9/15 for $133/nt. Is there any chance that you can help me ID this one? Thanks for any help you can offer!
  5. Just "won" the Riu Palace All-Inclusive in Cabo San Lucas area. Listed as 4*. Price had gone down from $211 to $193 in the last several hours, so I jumped on it. The rate will end up being about $175 total less for the 3 nights than I could find through any other outlet. Thanks for helping me bid with confidence, Better Bidding! Resort Beachfront Property Food and Beverages Included Premium Brand Beverages Included A la Carte Dining Options Water Sports/Ocean Activities Included Evening Entertainment Included Daily Activities Included Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Tennis Nearby Spa Services Free Parking Free Breakfast
  6. I tried lowballing for a 5 star in Cancun up to $78 for Hotel Zone and Hotel Zone South and did not win. It's last minute, so I got more realistic and bid $61 for Resort Hotel in Hotel Zone and Hotel Zone South and won the Westin Resort and Spa. So, I'm paying $61++ per night for 3 nights from 3/9-3/12 for 2 people. Thanks for the help, Better Bidding.
  7. Hello - just wanted to share that we just "won" the Westin Puerto Vallarta for March 5 for one night. As the stay is for tomorrow, I didn't want to risk not getting the hotel so I started my bid at $62 and the first bid was accepted. Thanks to this site, I was 99% sure of what the result of my bid would be. Thanks again! PS - I used the Better Bidding PRICELINE link for my purchase.
  8. I was lowballing and attempted the following bids.... $38 - 4* ORD South - declined $38 - 4* ORD South and North - declined $38 - 3.5* ORD South and North - declined Then it offered me the option to bid the same areas and star level for $10 more. I was getting a little nervous as the reservation is for tomorrow and I knew I had been lowballing, so I accepted the suggestion to bid $10 more. My $48 bid was accepted and I got the 4* Hyatt Regency O'Hare. I'm a little disappointed with myself that I didn't just go a little higher (maybe $42) in the first place and it might have been accepted, but it's still a good deal.
