I wanted a resort in either the Maingate or Lake Buena Vista area, which allowed for 13 total bids!! I recently saw a post in which someone got the Hyatt Grand Cypress for $62, and we have stayed there before and would LOVE to stay there again; the pool area is awesome! So I bid up to $62 and got it! WOO HOO!

FINALLY, tonight I decided to just try for a 4 star in St. Pete Beach since I saw a deal on hotwire for $128 that I was willing to go for.
So I bid this on priceline tonight:

Am very happy with this rate though. The rate I check online for this hotel was $145!

I first bid 4 star downtown Ft. Lauderdale ranging from $70-$95 - all denied
I then tried 3 star downtown Ft. Lauderdale ranging from $$60-$70 - all denied
Realizing I wasn't going to get the rates I wanted in this area, I decided to venture out to the Plantation area and just drive about 20 minutes longer to get to the cruise port. I'm glad I made this decision because I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for just a place to lay my head for the night :)
