I recently saw a post in which someone got the Hyatt Grand Cypress for $62, and we have stayed there before and would LOVE to stay there again; the pool area is awesome! This was my FIRST bid...maybe should have started lower :) Am very happy with this rate though. The rate I check online for this hotel was $145! Just sleeping here for a night before taking off on a cruise. I first bid 4 star downtown Ft. Lauderdale ranging from $70-$95 - all denied I then tried 3 star downtown Ft. Lauderdale ranging from $$60-$70 - all denied Realizing I wasn't going to get the rates I wanted in this area, I decided to venture out to the Plantation area and just drive about 20 minutes longer to get to the cruise port.
