I booked a 2.5 star hotel in downtown harbor island.

As you predicted, it was Holiday Inn Express although the price is now chaneged ($66 -> $69)

Anyway, the total price is $235.93 ($69.00/night + tax) for the 3 nights.

$69 2 star Civic Center South, Hayes Valley - airport shuttle, complimentary breakfast, and high speed internet

$69 3 star Japantown Civic Center North - fitness center, business center, and high speed internet

$72 3 star Union Square East - boutique, smoke free, fitness center, resturants, business center, and high speed internet
