  1. I visited this Hotel a few years ago. The Hotels beach offers some great snokling / diving.
  2. To find out about Las Veags conventions check this out. A few decent size shows. http://www.lvcva.com/finder/conventioncalendar/meetings
  3. You will like this property, the common areas are very nice. The suites are nice and the location is good. You don't even have to use the Tollway to get to the hotel. If you are heading north get off one exit before the Tollway go a few blocks the Hotel is on the right just pasy Macy's. (Macy's is on the Left) One note parking is $4/day. Tell them you will need to park and they will give you a code to exit the parking lot. The IC has some big events planed for New Years but they are expensive. Going from memory I think I saw prices posted of $350/400 per couple.
  4. It looks like the HELMSLEY is offering discount rates thru travel agents. I see a price of 155.70. before taxes. The Intercontinental Barkley is not sold out but they are not offering discounts. Rates start at 289.
  5. This place is awsome. Very fast internet in room. Melitta coffee pot in room. Indoor Pool. Room had two beds. Best Priceline hotel in the area. If I have to come back to the area I would be willing to pay normal rates for this property.
  6. Good clean extended stay hotel. Staff if friendly. Indoor pool. Decent breakfast. In room internet is very slow. Room had two beds with sleeper sofa.
  7. Basic extended Stay Hotel. Limited services (which is fine by me). Small kitchen full size fridge. I was happy with place as a single. I was given a room with one bed. If you need two beds it cost an extra $20 per night.
  8. I think that you will be happy with this Hotel. The rooms are nice, indoor pool & free very high speed internet in the room. I used the advice of others for my bids. So I am glad to have paid it forward. But this will be my last staty in this area.
  9. Check out http://www.hostelworld.com you can find some budget hotels.
  10. Mid Jan gets you down to around 842 on AA. If you give up miles on AA you can get down 732 on UA. Sorry if I am to late on this.
  11. Are your dates flexible? If so that can make a huge difference in price. I just did a 30 day look for a 15 day stay. Prices ranged from 1291 to 1927. So are your dates flexible and how long are you wanting to stay? How many stops are you willing to make? If you tell me that then I will tell you what you can do before you start shopping.

If you can leave on the 4th then AA will do it for 255. But then you will need a hotel one night in LA.
  13. Good one, but if they have a banner then they should have a link code that will work.
  14. I noticed a wood banner on another travel site looks like it came from http://www.tribalfusion.com
  15. Did a quick check of Galileo for the night of the 24th. So these are conventional booking rates. VENETIAN RST HOTEL 219 TREASURE ISLAND from 119. IMPERIAL PALACE 89 MANDALAY BAY RESORT 150 Harrah's 117 So if the GF is set on the Imperial Palace why not stay there and take the extra cash and eat a real meal or room service?
  16. I also like good in room coffee. But it is hard to find, even if it is a good brand it will often be passed it's prime. I drink mine black so creamer is not an issue. As for breakfast at high end hotels the InterContinental club room in New Orleans had an awsome breakfast. I recieved a free upgrade to the club floor or it would not have been free. But that was prior to the big K, good thing that was a leaisure trip.
  17. For me I want free high-speed internet. I have to read my email every day and dial up is way to slow. I also love it when the property has a fridge and microwave. I do like it when the property has a bar with food. Lots of channels on the TV is a good thing. I usually leave before the Breakfast is ready, or it just doughnuts and coffee. Pool when its just me I could care less. Business center I have a lap top give me free high-speed internet and I am set. So what extra
  18. I did a week long stayfor business. Parking is $5/day across the street. The Hotel staff is great. I ate at the bar almost every night. Wirless internet that works fine. Location is close to the ferry and train but at night it is dead.
  19. I was worried that this bid included a Monday but my first bid of $45 was accepted.
  20. Most Extended StayAmerica properties do not offer shuttle services. But I have always like to properties. I do like having a fridge in my room.
  21. I needed one night mid week to complete this saty in the area. I don't know why I bid so low but first bid at $40, rejected. Offered to rebid at $52 decided to go for it. The web rate at Marriott.com is 159.00. I will be back in the area Mid Dec. and I will post bid results.
  22. Yes it is working out very well. Perhaps the Holiday season is helping with the full week bids. I was sure that I could get some PL deals in Milford but I want to avoid using 95. Getting deals in Shelton helps out with the drive time to Bridgeport.
  23. First bid of $50 for 2.5* rejected. Changed dates and bid $55. Your Offer Price: $55.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 9 Subtotal: $495.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $75.94 Total Charges: $570.94
