I just booked the Four Points Sheraton at Philadelphia Airport for 9/4 (one night) for $45. The amenities listed were: Airport Shuttle, Restaurant, Fitness Center.

I just booked a room thru Hotwire and then contacted the hotel directly to place a request for a room with two beds and, if possible, a non-smoking room. I understand that it's not guaranteed and that the hotel will do its best to accommodate my request. What I wanted to know was, what was everybody else's experience with such a request? Has anybody had such a request denied? I'm just trying to get a feel for the odds on getting my requests granted.

I just booked the Burbank Airport Hilton (Burbank-Universal City) for 3 nights, 8/21-8/24, for $67 a night. Amenities: Restaurant, pool, fitness center, business center I'm basically happy with this booking but I wasn't happy when my AAA book indicated that this hotel charges a parking fee.

I just booked the Holiday Inn Buena Park Conference Center for 3 nights, 8/16-8/19, for $35 a night. Amenities: restaurant, pool, fitness center, business center, self-service laundry I had done the exact same search (same dates, same no. of nights, Buena Park-La Mirada) two days ago and it gave me a price of $38/night. So I guess in this case it actually paid to wait.
