Originally tried $125 for South Strip 4* Fri-Sun (1/7-1/9), was declined. Moved dates to Sat-Mon & decrease bid to $85 and was accepted. Expedia shows NY NY same dates for (avg) $110/night. Started a couple of days ago bidding $50-$65 with re-bidding options (changing dates, star rating, adding areas). Attempted $65 today, rejected, added HB & raised to $70. Done! $70 /night x2 nights $140 sub-total $25.94 taxes & fees $165.94 total Expedia shows only Friday night available at $269. HOTWIRE's cheapest 3.5* in this area is $119 /night.
