  1. Nice rate, the place looks decent:) Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $26.00 Subtotal: $52.00 Taxes & Fees: $13.90 Total Charges*: $65.90
  2. Seems to be a popular Priceline price for this hotel, so I went with it and got it on the first try. Used the PRICELINE link on BetterBidding.com, of course:)
  3. Amenities listed as Complimentary Breakfast, High Speed Internet. I'm pleased, as I was sure this was the hotel I would get based on the posts here, and $50/night in London with breakfast is awesome! Used HOTWIRE link here on Better Bidding. Oops, something is wrong with my title, the price is $49/night.
  4. Amenities listed as Fitness Center - Restaurant - Business Center - High-speed Internet Access Total with taxes $74.74 Used HOTWIRE links here, of course!
  5. Amenities listed as: Complimentary Breakfast, Pool(s), Laundry Facilities, High-speed Internet Access I am VERY disappointed with this win:( Every other booking site, including Baymonts own website lists this as a 2*, not a 2.5*. And every other site has it listed as $59/night:( I filed for the Double the Difference back...but still not pleased with the rating or the fact I've really saved nothing. If I wanted a 2 star, I could have booked others directly for cheaper!
  6. Amenities listed as: Complimentary Breakfast Fitness Center Pool Business Center High Speed Internet Price of $39/night. I used the HOTWIRE link from Better Bidding, of course! :-)
  7. Actually, on my Priceline "Previous Requests" page, under Star level, it lists this win as "Boutique" level although it specifies 3.5 star on the actual confirmation. So it was Priceline itself who declared it a Boutique hotel, not us. Priceline did reply suggesting we talk to the hotel manager...it wasn't a room quality issue so much as an overall quality issue. So talking to the manager would accomplish nothing...it simply seems to be misclassified. I don't care to make a big deal of it...it was worth $50, just think it was misclassified...

  9. Booked for my partner and his parents for a wedding this weekend. Accepted on the first bid. I'm not there, but partner is less than impressed. He's comparing it to a Super 8 or Motel 6, not a 3.5 star hotel. Apparently the walls/many guest doors are full of holes, the wallpaper is peeling off everywhere you look, and the rooms are tragically dreary and dated/need maintenance. I guess it's this sort of 'charm' that PRICELINE consideres "Boutique"? He's getting pictures and we'll write to Priceline...not sure if they'll do anything, but this really should not be a 3.5.
  10. This hotel is fine on a Hotwire/Priceline rate. The good: The hotel is clean and convenient to Heathrow. Don't waste your money on the Hotel Hoppa bus...it costs
  11. With taxes $88.11. Not a bad deal:) As a tip for anyone else who gets this hotel...don't waste your money on the Hotel Hoppa bus from Heathrow which costs four pounds each way. Just take the 111 bus from Heathrow's central bus station, and it takes you right to the Marriot next door to the Sheraton. Then take the 111 bus back to Heathrow as well. There are other buses, but the 111 runs 24 hours a day so it'll always be there for you:) Used the links here to bid, of course:)
  12. We stayed two nights at the 4* Crowne Plaza London Shoreditch on a $105/night Priceline bid. (Finsbury/Islington area.) Pluses: We arrived over two hours before official check in and our room was not ready for us yet, but they did pre check us in and store our bags while we went for some lunch. No mention of Priceline whatsoever, and we were treated very professionally the entire time. When we returned later in the afternoon our bags were brought up for us, the concierge was quick to offer assistance (cab, suggestions, directions) whenever we were in the lobby, etc. When we came back the second day, the maids had not only cleaned the room but also folded the dirty clothes that I had kinda tossed over on the sofa and organized all my toiletries in the bathroom! Talk about service LOL! Certainly top notch in the customer service department. The hotel was renovated in 2007 and it shows...everything is very modern, clean, and upscale. Our room was fairly spacious and had tons of daylight by European standards, had a huge flat screen TV, desk with internet keyboard to use on the TV (
  13. We had a one night stay here, and I pretty much have nothing to add to what the previous posters have said. It's a great hotel for under $100, the neighborhood is safe, clean, and has a ton of dining options, and it's a short walk from the Angel tube station. My only gripe was internet access runs
  14. Originally wanted this hotel for my three day stay, but split my bid and got it for one night. Bid $85 off the bat and got it...perhaps could have gone a bit lower, but it was still a bargain. Used the PRICELINE links here.
  15. I was shooting for the Hilton Islington, and started bidding at $80, upped the bid adding in Soho, then Bloomsbury, and ended up near $120. Dropped one day off the bid, repeated above, and got this hotel at $105. I added added it again using the 'extend stay' option. The hotel is pretty new, certainly in the 4* category for London. Feel free to update the list with this one...I will also write a review. Used the PRICELINE link here to bid:)
  16. I was never banned from TOBB, probably because I was never successful in registering LOL. I tried, and they apparently send an e-mail confirmation to registers (just as this board does). But they never came through, and despite many e-mails to try and get it cleared up nobody bothered to reply or fix the issue. Which it their loss...I book at least 6-8 hotel nights per month via Priceline, and until now had used TOBB for the resources but refused to use their links as I was apparently not good enough to be a member of the community:) I found this forum thanks to Flyertalk yesterday, have now registered, and made my first 'click through' booking today. Not to mention this community is actually up to date :)
  17. My partner suddenly needs to be in Waukesha for the weekend. Based on previous posters, I tried 3* Pewaukee area at $42, rejected. Added 3* Brookfield-New Berlin at $45, also rejected. Added 2.5* for both zones and dropped the price back to $42, accepted at Country Inn and Suites. Based on previous posts, I perhaps could have got it for $5-$10 less but since check in is tomorrow I didn't want to be full out rejected over a few dollars, as I don't have 24 hours left to replace the bid. The hotel lists a $149 rate for both nights, so I am happy at $42 regardless. And this hotel has decent reviews here and offers free breakfast and internet, which I don't think the 3*'s in this area do. Worth the extra dollars if I did indeed pay them:) I used the BB PRICELINE link. As a side note, I am new to the forum. I used to go to TOBB and then saw this forum in a FlyerTalk post yesterday. May I say that it is WAY better, and I am happy to support it by using the links to make my bids....which generally equal to 2-3 hotels a month, minimum. Happy bidding everyone!
