Just got the same property (using the betterbidding link, of course) for $53 for 6/13-14. Amenities matched. Happy about the airport shuttle. I've stayed at this property before, and while it's not top notch, it's clean, the staff is friendly, and they have free Internet access from the rooms.

Damn! I just realized that somehow I switched to or added Boston Waterfront / Convention Center / South Boston. Not quite what I'd hoped for.

Priceline declined my $55 bid for Berkeley/Emeryville, but counter offered $66 for the same area. I decided to be adventurous and try Hotwire (through the betterbidding link, of course!). Went with $59 3* in Oakland/Alameda and got the Executive Inn & Suites. Includes free breakfast. Hoping for a suite and free parking -- this will be my first time at this property. I'll let you know how it goes!

I've gotten this hotel several times myself. It's reasonable, and nice to have shopping and dining options right outside. My biggest complaint is that it's the only hotel in the area that charges for self-parking. (~$10/nt, I believe) That definitely affects the savings.

This is a fantastic property with an excellent location that is central to everywhere - plenty within walking distance and everything else via public transportation. Enjoy your first trip to SF!

3* @ $61 - rejected 2.5* @ $61 - accepted I was expecting Four Points or the Hilton Garden Inn in Emeryville, but got the Doubletree Berkeley Marina, which really should be classified as 3*. (I believe it is on Hotwire -- I've paid $69 for this property a couple of times before.) Good luck!

$68 for Union Square West was denied. (Was hoping for the Prescott) Added USE and thought I'd get the Westin St. Francis, but wound up with the Grand Hyatt. Even better! Good luck.
