  1. The dates of our stay are 4/6 - 4/8/08, purchased on 4/4/08.
  2. Just got the Hilton Costa Mesa 2 days before check in for $74 a night... Amenities: Shuttle, Fitness Center, Restaurant, Business Center, High Speed Internet
  3. Bid $80 on a 4 star and didn't get it, so added Boutique and bid again at $70 and got the Wyndham Whitney.
  4. Got the Holiday Inn in Altamonte for $53, listed as a 3*... I must say I'm disappointed with this choice -- tripadvisor rates this hotel a 2* and reviews only give it a 2.5 out of 5 :). Oh well. Sometimes opaque gives you great deals, other times not...
  5. There are All Inclusives available in the opaque hotel product -- do a hotel search for Cabo San Lucas (my dates are 10/6-10/9), and you'll see at least one hotel that is marked "All Inclusive", and yet prices are given per room. I called Hotwire support and they said that if I listed 2 adults and that's the price I was given, then that's the final price. I'm just worried that when we show up to the resort, there will be some sort of "oops, Hotwire purchases only cover one person for the food & beverage" line from the front desk staff. How can we know that wouldn't happen? P.S. - GO BLUE!
  6. Maybe I'm missing something here, but the rates for AI hotels listed on Hotwire (like those in Mexico), are "per room" -- but if there are two people, does that cover both of us, or do we double that number?
  7. It appears Hotwire has moved the Hyatt up to 3.5* from 3*. :) Amenities listed: Airport Shuttle Restaurant(s) Pool(s) Fitness Center Business Center Hyatt San Jose 1740 North First Street San Jose, California 95112 (408) 993-1234
  8. Started out bidding $53 for a 4 star in Southfield, and was rejected. Added 3 star and lowered bid to $46, and accepted! It's the Hilton Inn Southfield 5/10 - 5/13.
  9. Bid $48 on a 3 star in O'Hare area only, and received Renaissance Suites Chicago O'hare for 4/18-4/21 This hotel is listed as a 4 star at other sites and retails for $219 a night!
  10. Just booked a 3.5* LAX area for 7/15 through 7/16, and got the Radisson at LA Airport. Disappointed in the hotel brand, but maybe this is one of the nicer Radissons out there. I've never stayed at a Radisson that I would consider 3.5* stars though... :) Amenities listed as Shuttle, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, High Speed Internet
