Most people seem to really like the Sheraton so we were very happy we received it on Priceline for our vacation 7/7 to 7/11. But were we ever disappointed! Our room was dirty! Not just that they didn't clean it dirty, but the carpets were dirty and stained, the furniture had a thick layer of dust that could be seen when you sat in the chair. The beds were uncomfortable and worse, they don't use fitted sheets so when you wake up in morning the bed is all unmade and you can see the mattress and see how stained and old it was. The smoke detector was broken and had no top. The sink drain stopper was broken and did not open. If you ran water in the sink to brush your teeth, the sink would fill up with water and you had to hold up the stopper with your hand to let the water drain out. This is a no frills hotel, since you have to pay for everything..parking, internet, no breakfast, no in room refrigerator (you do have a honor bar, but it is full and can not hold anything you want to put in it and it has no freezer). We have had better service and a nicer room at a hotel in Seattle priceline rates as a 2.5 star. We truly were expecting a better quality hotel room then what they gave us, which we figured was a room they have not remodeled yet and they give it to Priceline customers. No one paying $230 night would ever except it. And since we were told they were booked full we had no choice but to except it or leave the hotel. And to top it off, the pool is closed until October. No one told us that when I called to ask for a room near the pool so my kids wouldn't have to walk thru the lobby in their suits. I was told "no problem", not "I'm sorry, we are doing construction currently and the pool will be closed during your stay". If had not paid thru priceline, we would have walked out and found a different place to stay, but losing $650 is hard to swallow so we stayed. Never again will we stay at a Sheraton! Highly disappointed and we would never recommend this hotel.
