  1. OK, I simply booked like you suggested with your Expedia link. Booked the Treasure Island for 89$/night. Hope we're going to like it!!! Any tips for the stay?
  2. Hi! Want to book a 4* Hotel in San Francisco: 2 rooms for 2 persons each, should not be more than 100$. Fisherman's Wharft would be sweet, but under 100$ should be hard. So USW or USE: I have NO CLUE what is better for us. We're just going to do all the touristy stuff, so what would be better? Since there are so many possible hotels, it's also hard to predict which area to choose. Is there maybe an area (talking about USW or USE) which offers better hotels than the other area (or does one area have a risk of getting "not so good" 4 Star hotels?) Thank you so much for your help!!!
  3. I will try to get a hotel in Hollywood for under 100 bucks. If that doesn't work, than downtown - seem like everyone has gotten the westin in downtown! DO tou have any 'insights' in this hotel - is it a good 4* hotel?
  4. Well, I was just wondering if there is a 4* Hotel with a very good price (about 80$) available. Was hoping for an offer similar to the MGM one - but if there isn't one, I am just going to book a hotel that I think is great on Expedia and pay a little bit more. What are your thoughts about the Caesar's Palace? Why is it so much more expensive than the other 4* Hotels (like MGM, Paris, New York New YOrk,...)?
  5. ok, so I don't have to pay that on top? I will use your link for sure!
  6. Basically, everything up to 100$ is fine. Well, my parents will be with me, too, and we just have 1 full and 2 half days, so we're mostly going to do tourist stuff. Just want to be near the tourist stuff (Hollywood, etc.)
  7. Hi! I am looking for a 4 Star Hotel in LA for the given dates. Not sure if we should book downtown or Beverly Hills - Hollywood seems to be too expensive for a 4 star (I haven't seen anyone here getting a hotel for less than 150$ for 4 stars). We want to see Hollywood and the Walk of Fame mainly when we come to LA. So what would you reccomend? Downtown - which will most likely be the Westin Bonaventure, or Beverly Hills? I have really no clue what is better! Thank you!
  8. Just wanted to book the No Regrets Special. It says: Arriving: Tue Aug 05, 2008 2 Guests Departing: Thu Aug 07, 2008 1 Grand Tower Room 2 night(s): $144.00 Taxes: $12.96 Total: $156.96 How do deposits work? (Click here) Deposit Due: $78.48 What is the deposit? Do I have to pay that on top? Help! :)
  9. Yeah, you have to check out their special offers, and select the No Regrets offer - just 72 a night!
  10. Hi! Me, my parents, and my sister will fly on Sunday, August 3rd, from DC to Vegas and want to stay in Vegas until Monday, than go to the Grand Canyon, and come back to Vegas from Tuesday till Thursday. From Tu till Th I will book the MGM. Grand But from Sunday till Monday I thought about booking a different hotel - it should be 4* and have a pool - is there any good offers online? I am thinking about an offer similar to the MGM one where you can book a room for just 72$/nite on their website? Thank you!
  11. That's an awesome offer! But can you tell me why the West Wing King Room is 88$, but way smaller than the regular room? What's so special about that? Does it maybe have a view on the strip (Because it says West wing)? Also: We will fly on Sunday, August 3rd, from DC to Vegas and want to stay in Vegas until Monday, than go to the Grand Canyon, and come back to Vegas from Tuesday till Thursday. From Tu till Th I will book the MGM. But from Sunday till Monday I thought about booking a different hotel - it should be 4* and have a pool - is there any good offers like the MGM one? Thank you so much!!!
  12. Now it shows 69$ - hope it goes down again
  13. Hi! I want to have the MGM Grand for my 2 nights in Las Vegas. This is on Hotwire: 4* Hotel, Strip South for $65 a night. Amenities: Casino, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, High Speed Internet, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Spa. It's also been rated 4 out of 5 on tripadvisor and has 1840+ customer review - which is a match if you look up the hotel on tripadvisor.com (1863 reviews at the moment) So how likely is this going to be the MGM? Could this be any other hotel? If yes, what else could it be (but the 1840+ reviews it shows on hotwire are very close to the 1863 reviews on tripadvisor.com)
  14. OK, I used your PRICELINE link and this is the outcome: 85$ for the The Madison, A Loews Hotel. That's funny - that's the hotel I wanted to book on Expedia before I knew about priceline and this site - but now I save 50% - Thank you! Any tips about how to come from Dulles Airport to the Hotel?
  15. Oh OK I see what you mean, thank you! Just one LAST question: I wouldn't care if it was one bed, as long as it was a king - but how likely is it to just get a double bed for 2 people - which, in my opinion, is not large enough for 2. Thank you!!!
  16. OK, I will try that in the next couple of days using your PRICELINE links and tell you how it went. I am booking a room for me and my sister, and one for my parents - is there any way I can influence the beds in the room? I would like to have 2 queens for me and my sister, and a king for my parents - any chance to do so?
  17. Yes, I would only like to have a hotel in the White House/Downtown Zone, and don't really care as long as the hotel is within this zone and 4*. My Maximum Bid would be at around 100$ - the cheaper the better, though!
  18. But if you say a room for 2 people is guaranteed - why are you then only guaranteed a double bed (which, in my opinion, is too narrow for two people). Isn't there a chance to ask for a king / 2 queens in advance by calling the hotel?
  19. Hi! I am looking for 2 rooms for 4 people for Washington, DC from August 1 - August 3. It should be near the White House/Downtown, and 4* and up. Do you have a strategy for me and - besided the Renaissance Mayflower and the Hilton - what else could I expect? Thank you!
  20. Hi! I want to book hotels for me and my family when we will do a trip through the US this summer. I have used HOTWIRE and PRICELINE before, but just for myself. So I always got a room with just one double bed - not enough for 2 people. So is there a way to get a room for 2 people? And can I decide if I want 2 beds OR 1 king bed in the room? Thank you!!!
