  1. Used the Better Bidding PRICELINE link. In for EDC week. Wanted something on the South strip but I was desperate as usual, so North will have to do. I've been getting a different hotel every year, so I'm kind of excited to stay at this one. There was a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for a 4* Hotel in the North Strip for $91. Decided to bid and at least try to get it a couple dollars cheaper. haha SLS Las Vegas, a Tribute Portfolio Resort 2535 South Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas , NV Copy of the summary of charges: Offer price:$89.00/night Adjusted room price (bid) with Hotel Fee Credit: $88.40/night Hotel fee:$168.00 Thx Betterbidding
  2. I found alternative parking! The the building is called Airport Spectrum, address is 5757 W Century blvd. It's right next to the Hilton (west of it). $10.50 if parked for less than 24 hrs $13.95 if parked more than 24 hrs No in and out, must pay before leaving parking structure. I parked in the street during the day after the first night since I was in and out of the hotel. It's behind the hotel on 98th st. $1/hr parking, max 2 hrs. Free after 8pm but you need to move it by 2am. If you think you'll be in and out a lot, then maybe the $30 will be worth paying. Or you can do what I did. I saved $37! So I'm pretty happy. The walk from the street was further away compared to the parking structure. The Los Angeles airport Marriott is right next door too, so if the parking is crazy as well, then you can try Airport Spectrum. Hope this helps!
  3. Used the Better Bidding PRICELINE link.   Hilton Los Angeles Airport 5711 West Century Boulevard, Los Angeles , CA   I've stayed here before. Nice rooms but parking is HORRIBLE. I have a compact car and I still think the parking spaces are too small. Sometimes they don't have any room for any cars at all. $29 a night!! I'm going to try to find cheaper parking around the hotel. If I find something, I'll come back on here and let you know.    Offer price: $77.00/night Number of rooms: 1 room Number of nights: 2 nights Room subtotal: $154.00 Taxes & fees: $33.22 Total charged today: $187.22
  4. Used the BetterBidding Priceline link. Last minute hotel buy for New Years Eve. Wyndham Irvine Orange County Airport 17941 Von Karman Avenue Irvine, CA 92614 Room Price: $105 Taxes and Fees: $21.40 Total: $126.40
  5. Late post but I wanted to share this. 3.5* Wyndham Irvine Orange County Airport 17941 Von Karman Avenue, Irvine, CA 92614 Room Price: $73.00 Taxes & Fees: $16.14 Total: $89.14 Parking $18 but a nice man charged me half the price.
  6. Late post but I still wanted to share this. 5* Trump International Hotel, Las Vegas 2000 Fashion Show Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89109 This hotel is a little off the side of the strip, less than 1/2 a mile. Good view if your higher than 36 floors, otherwise the Treasure Island hotel will block most of the view. Was in Vegas for a music festival so prices are higher than usual. Room Price per night: $107.00 Room subtotal (5 nights) : $535.00 Hotel Fee: $162.40 Taxes & Fees: $95.80 Total: $793.20
  7. Extremely late post but I still wanted to share this. Room Total: $69.00 Taxes & Fees: $17.36 Total room cost for 1 night $86.36 3.5* Los Angeles Marriott Burbank 2500 North Hollywood Way, Burbank, CA 91505
  8. Used the BetterBidding PRICELINE link. Renaissance Los Angeles Airport Hotel 9620 Airport Blvd, Los Angeles, CA Offer price: $90.00 /night Number of rooms: 1 room Number of nights: 2 nights Room subtotal: $180.00 Taxes & fees: $36.72 Total charged today: $216.72 I remember getting this same hotel for my brother and his friends back in 2013. I remember him saying it was "whatever". The hotel website doesn't have many pictures but the ones I saw on Tripadvisor kind of scare me. Hope it turns out well though.
  9. Used the BetterBidding Priceline link. 4* Westin Pasadena 191 N Los Robles Ave, Pasadena, CA 91101 2 Nights Room cost: $82 Taxes and Fees: $32.18 Total: $196.18 Very pretty hotel but the bed was kind of hard, made my neck hurt. The room was clean. It had a very long bench in there which was cool. Self parking is $11 a night but you can't go in and out, you pay everytime you leave. Which totally sucks. Valet is $15 a night but at least you can come and go. Or you can do what I did, parked at a parking structure around the corner (near the entrance to self parking on Union street, cross street is Euclid), they charge $4 for overnight parking and you can come and go as you please. Totally awesome deal but if it's your last night, just make sure you leave or move your car by 11am the next day or they'll charge you another $4. hahaha It's still better than $11 or $15 a night.

  16. Used the Betterbidding PRICELINE link. In Vegas for EDC week. I paid a little more than I wanted to but I was definitely desperate. I'd rather pay a little more than be stressed all week! Or even worse, pay full price. HAHA B) Room Subtotal: $505.00 Taxes & Fees: $78.05 Total Charged to Card: $583.05 Thx BetterBidding! :D

  20. 2087 Hotel Circle South, San Diego,CA,92108 (619) 296-5570 Amenities Laundry Facilities (self-service) Check IN: 02/11/12 Check OUT: 02/12/12 (Stayed only 10 minutes) Rate per night: $50.00 Nights: 1 Rooms: 1 Tax recovery charges & fees: $11.35 Subtotal: $61.35 Before using Hotwire or Priceline I do check and use BetterBidding when starting but on a phone it's hard to maneuver through the sites. I was also pushed on time so I was unable to do my usual researching. Some 2* hotels are ok but this hotel is beyond beyond beyond horrible. I got this hotel through Hotwire. So when you first walk up to the hotel it looks alright but then you get closer and it immediately gives off a bad vibe. There was three of us and they ONLY had a queen size bed in a smoking room and the lady at the front desk did not even bother to accommodate us. The elevator sounds like it will break down any minute. The hallways are narrow and extremely long. There was no number on the door but it was written on the wall with a marker. The room smelled of armpit, ass, and smoke. It felt like we walked into a crack den and an episode of the first 48. We opened the windows and blasted the AC and nothing would have fixed that repulsive smell. My boyfriend and I needed to go buy some water and other snacks so I left my mother alone in the room. As we walked out the door I saw three men who literally looked like they were up to no good. I almost walked back into the room but thought that would definitely look wrong. I had a bad feeling on our way to our car and told my boyfriend that we were NOT staying here tonight. My boyfriend and I left our wallets and phones in the car and went back to the room to go and get my mom. This was the fastest checking-in and checking-out of a hotel. We were literally there for only 10 minutes and that was waaaaay to damn long. It was way to gross to even touch anything. This is the first time I did NOT care about money. $61 down the drain but that place is beyond filthy and so not safe to even think twice about staying the night. AVOID the Extended Stay America!!!!

  22. Used the BetterBidding PRICELINE link. Crowne Plaza Irvine 17941 Von Karman, Irvine, CA 92614 949-863-1999 First started with a 4 star rating hotel. Had multiple bids starting at $39, went up to $57. Unable to get a hotel, closed the window and started a 3.5 star bid. Started at $48, bid #2 $53, bid #3 $56, bid #4 $59 - accepted. It was close to the check-in date so I did not mind the price. Free internet - always awesome. Parking was $15/night. Thx BetterBidding :D
  23. Used the BetterBidding PRICELINE link. Los Angeles Airport (LAX) 6161 West Century Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90045 310-649-1400 Bid: #1: $45, 3* Los Angeles LAX, was offered to raise bid to $61 as there is a hotel who would accept it. Denied offer. #2: $48, added Inglewood, rejected. #3: $53, added Lawndale, rejected. #4: $55, added USC, accepted! :D Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $55.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Guests Per Room: 2 Number of Nights: 2 Room Subtotal: $110.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $24.56 (USD) Total Room Cost: $134.56 (USD) Parking Valet parking, fee: 20 USD daily Off-site parking, fee: 4.5 USD hourly, 13.45 USD daily Hotel only offers valet parking Wish I knew where the off-site parking was last time. The valet guy only knew spanish, he was not helpful at all. All he said was "there is no parking here, you can't park here". Even after speaking to him in spanish, he was still hard to understand. I had to call the front desk just to find out where I can park. Anyway, I like to park my own car and go to it whenever I want. As I remember - there is free internet, which is awesome. Yay for that. Thanks BetterBidding! :D
