  1. Started bidding at $55. Added free re-bids. At $69, was told to bid $85 for success. Added dead zone and bid $72. Accepted. Thanks!
  2. I looked through your master list as well as other postings. I don't see this one... 3* Fitness Center Business Center Laundry Facilities High-speed Internet Access 6/15/10-6/16/10 $63 Thanks for any insight you guys can provide! (50+ reviews, 85% satisfaction.)
  3. Been trying this area for about a week. Started bidding at $50. Not the best price I've ever gotten for a 4* in Buckhead, but was THRILLED to get the Intercontinental. The past few times I've bid on this area, I've won the Grand Hyatt. Best price on the hotel's website is $109. Thanks for all you do!!
  4. First bid $50. Got the "bid $14 more" response. 2nd 'free' rebid - $53. Declined. 3rd 'free' rebid - $55. Accepted. Best price on Hyatt.com is $119. This is the BEST price I've gotten on a 4* Buckhead hotel, ever! (Hopefully, my Friday, the 13th luck continues!) Used your link! Thanks.
  5. Tried $55 the first time and it was accepted. Best price on the Hyatt.com site was $199. A great deal for me! Used your PRICELINE link! Thanks!
  6. Started at $59...got accepted the first time. Best price on the Hyatt site was $159. This is the best rate I've ever gotten for Buckhead! :)
  7. Was hoping for the Marriott, but this is ok, too - especially for $79. First bid-$70. PRICELINE offered free rebid if I bid $22 more. Add rebid zone and $79 was accepted. Best Price on Crowne Plaza Site is $175. Thanks for all you do!
  8. YEAH! We live in the Atlanta area and frequently stay in Buckhead when we have a sitter. This is the best price we've ever gotten on a 4* in Buckhead! While we prefer the Intercontinental, this is a great deal! Best Price on Hyatt site is ....$111.30. Thanks...used your PRICELINE Link!
  9. Sorry...forgot the ammenities! Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access It did NOT show the non-smoking icon. I did several searches yesterday and sometimes the non-smoking icon was present...this time it wasn't. Thanks again!
  10. Hilton San Diego Bayfront Best price on Hilton website for this stay is $190. Got a good deal. Needed to use Hotwire b/c I need to be in Gaslamp area and Priceline doesn't offer that as a bidding area. Used your HOTWIRE link! Love this site...thanks for all of your hard work!
  11. Adams Mark Hotel Buffalo Started at $60...won. Best Price on hotel website is $101 per night. Thanks...used your PRICELINE link!
  12. I've been trying this area for a few days. I've gone as high as $77. I started today at $55 and went up in $5 bids. Got it for $70! Total $168 for two nights w/ taxes + fees. Best Price on Intercontinental website is $159. Used your PRICELINE Link!
  13. Best Price on the Westin site is $169. A good deal. Used your PRICELINE link! Thanks.
  14. Thought I would get the Hyatt. Got this instead. I went back through the posts and haven't seen very many Hilton wins at all. What's your opinion about this...the minimum I've seen lately for Resort in this area is around $81-$85. My first bid was $75. f I had bid higher, do you think I would have decreased my odds of getting the Hilton and increased my odds of getting the Hyatt. I had a similar bidding experience recently...I'm just wondering if going TOO low on a bid rules out some of the "nicer" (higher priced) resorts. Thanks!! (I used your PRICELINE link!!) I love this forum and use it frequently...truly appreciate your work.
  15. The upgrade was NOT offered. I ASKED at check-in if there were any upgrades available and was told about the $39 "special."
  16. Just wanted to let others who may receive this hotel as a PRICELINE win know...at check-in, we were able to upgrade to a partial oceanview room for $39. Our view was really nice!
  17. I've been trying this for a few days. Started with a $160 bid. Ended up getting $196. From my best educated GUESS, the HOTWIRE price for this Hyatt stay was $239/night. Lowest price on Hyatt.com site is $353/night and $318 w/ 3-for-4 deal. Very happy with this price and hotel! Used your PRICELINE link! (As I have for ALL of my reservations for this trip!!)
  18. Best rate I found via conventional methods was $839 per ticket. I didn't "Name My Own Price"...this was just the "special" that showed with the results when I searched for airfare. They didn't show any flight info...just price. I've never booked airfare on Priceline before, but thought I'd give it a try. Our flight times weren't important. We ended up with United Flights...only one layover PLUS convertible car rental for 8 days. VERY HAPPY. Our seats weren't together, but I made a quick call to United and they fixed that for us! Newark, NJ ( EWR) → Kahului, HI ( OGG) 1 Stop Connects in Chicago, IL (ORD) Departing
  19. Wyndham in RTP...didn't read such great things about it, but the room we got was VERY decent for the price. The staff was helpful. Room was newly carpeted w/ new bedding. Bathroom was clean. Used your PRICELINE link! (One other thing to note...this hotel was NOT listed on a generic Priceline search for this location/dates...but did show up as a win for "name your own price." This has actually happened the last three times I've used Priceline.)
  20. Bid again on Priceline tonight. Got Hotel La Jolla At The Shores (3*, Coastal). This is actually where I wanted b/c my husband has meetings here. Got it for $128. I've bid up to $130 in this area during the past 6 weeks or so. It is listed on Priceline for $185/night.
  21. San Diego Coastal - 7/15-7/18/2008 I've been trying for this trip for about 6 weeks. Any insight (besides being Summer) as to why the bids for this time are so high for this area? I've bid up to $125-130 with no luck - 3* and 4*. Thanks for any insight! I don't see any winning bids for whole San Diego area for this time.
  22. Any help would be truly appreciated!! The only amenity listed is "high-speed internet access" and the price is $145. I looked thru the Hotwire list, but don't see this. Thank you!!
  23. Yes...it did have the internet icon. Sorry. I must have lost that part when I cut/pasted the amenities. Thanks for noticing that!
  24. We won a Priceline Bid for this a few weeks ago for $64. Decided to get an extra room as my mom is joining us. I believe this same HOTWIRE listing was $89 at that time. Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Best Value Hotwire Total: 1 room(s) @ $59.00 per night x 1 night(s) $59.00 Tax recovery charge and fees $14.34 Hotel subtotal $73.34
