Just booked on hotwire for 11/10-11/11...it's the Hilton Scottsdale Resort and Villas.

Sorry, thought I would be able to help, but my sister isn't calling back, and I'm leaving town. My guess is Holiday Inn Express Suites San Clemente also.

I just found out that the room I got was a suite and that I was "lucky" to get it. Just thought I would share that since I spoke so highly of the rooms. Booking again for March...it's $10 more now, and I'm not so sure that's such a good deal if I were to get a standard room. Hmmmm...

Just a note on the "2 bed" conversation...i have been told by a hotwire hotel before that they will not guarantee 2 beds even if the reservation is for 3 or 4 people. They only guarantee the room type is if I booked directly through them. ...However, I did end up with 2 beds. Headed to Montreal Sat...thinking I might go for the 4 star after reading this.

Sorry, I guess I didn't read your posts very well. The icons were still Fitness, Pool, and Internet. I'm not really sure what would have warranted the upgrade to 3.5 stars. The still was no bar, and the cafe was hardly a restaurant (although they did offer a few items that I think they just microwaved in the back). With that said, it was perfect for a weekend of shopping at the nearby mall with my daughter. I would stay there for $49 again in a heartbeat...the rooms were great!

I was a little disappointed when it revealed Hotel Ontario, but only because I already scratched it as a possibility. Still a good deal I guess. Parking and internet are free. I had to call the hotel to get the new website URL. It's www.hotelontarioca.com. You may be right about the liquor license, the website references a bar.
