Sorry, I don't recall the actual numbers of rebids I used. I used all the "real" rebids and added ones like Beverly Hills because there's no way to get a 4* in that zone for that low of a bid.

Started at $48 and used free rebids to $55. :)

Started at $45 and went up in $1 increments.

Started at $95 and went up in $5 increments.

Thought would hit at $110, but went up to $120. Hotel rate was $219.

I called the U.S. Grant and they said they do not plan to reopen until late December, 2005. I'm disappointed, but I can't really complain because I only paid $40 and will now stay at the Westin.

Can anyone tell me if this is the Hyatt Huntington Beach? Huntington Beach - Seal Beach (Coastal Areas) Selected amenities include: Near Beach, Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Fitness Center, Spa Services, High-Speed Internet Access, Children's Activity Program, Golf Nearby. Could this also be the Hilton? Thanks.

Ohhh...Thanks for the clarification. We'll there probably are golf and tennis courses within driving distance, but that would apply to pretty much all the hotels on Harbor Blvd since they are all in a row. Short distance is really a misnomer in Southern California - it's all relative.

Can you recheck the icons. The Hyatt Regency Orange does not have golf or tennis. Thanks. :)
