Just an update. I ended up booking the Rosen Centre Hotel direct at a fabulous $89.00/night rate for the nights of 2/27 and 2/28. I'm on waitlist for the night of the 2/26 otherwise it's the Red Roof Inn next door (again, direct). Much thanks for all your help on this forum. I'll be back! Mark

Could this be the Silver Cloud-Stadium? I'm a bit dubious since the hotel is showing sold out the night of Sept. 24 (Seahawks Monday Night Football game next door). Any thoughts? I'm receiving a rate of $162 per night for these dates and recommended by 90%. I really need the Palazzo as they will guarantee a room with a pull out couch (which we need) as opposed to the Venetian. This is for 3 rooms and 12 people (I'm assuming they will put us in 2 double beds based on this number-will call after confirmation)!! Most posts seem to indicate that based on 90% this is the Palazzo but I saw a recent one which gave it at 95%. Any thoughts? I really don't want the Venetian! THANK YOU!... Mark

I can confirm these were the amenities offered when I purchased the hotel BASED ON 2 Adults/2 Children: Airport Shuttle Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access I had an excellent stay at the aLoft and highly recommend it. The rooms are a bit on the small side and it would have been nice to have a hot tub/spa (only a heated pool-and no tub in the room-only shower) to come back to after a day of skiing on Mt. Hood but for the $48 nightly rate I found it to be an excellent value. Thanks again for all your help!! Mark

Hi all, Need some help identifying 3* PDX Airport-Cascade Station Entrance January 8-11, 2010 at $48 per night. Amenities include: -Airport Shuttle -Fitness Center -Business Center -High Speed Internet Access When I originally looked up rates, a pool was included so I thought for sure it was the Aloft. Now, I'm not too sure. Does Hotwire "hide" amenities to throw you off a bit sometimes? I also see for the dates 1/9-11 this same 3* at the same price is recommended by 90% in customer reviews but for some reason it doesn't show that for 1/8-11. Help!! Any thoughts? Thank you!!!! Hi sincerely appreciate everybody's help with this topic. Since I just couldn't risk getting something seedy in Chula Vista (yes, down $29!) I decided to book direct at the Best Western-Chula Vista. By no means anything greater than a 2* but the reviews aren't half bad and for only $50 (AAA) and approx. 12 hours it works. Need help ID'ing a couple of hotels for this Thursday, December 6. 2* Chula Vista-San Ysidro $33.00 -Comp Breakfast -Pool -Laundry -High Speed Internet My first guess (and based on the list) was the La Quinta-Chula Vista. HOWEVER, looking at the Hotwire map (are these reliable?) this LQ is located in the "National City" zone-despite a Chula Vista address: LQ 150 Bonita Road Chula Vista, CA Maybe it could be the Best Western-Chula Vista????? OK, here's the 2.5* National City $58.00 -Fitness Center -Restaurant -Pool -Laundry Could this one be the La Quinta? Doubt it as they do not have a restaurant.
