  1. Only icon is Laundry. Not sure if this is a good buy...I was expecting extended stay but got Clarion, this place's got some bad reviews online. :)
  2. Yeah, I think I'm going to stay away from Priceline...30 days is a long time to be in a place that you don't want to be. Thanks!
  3. I was perhaps just focusing on the Milpitas 2* one that I bought before as Homestead. I got it for $36 per night for 6 nights...but when searching for the same one for longer it turns into $49 per night (month didn't seem to matter, I tried searching with variations in months but same duration of 30 days.) Just thought it was odd since I figured it would be the other way around...the greater quantity, the cheaper it should be. (btw, thanks for all the replies so far...really appreciate it!)
  4. Yeah, I'm hoping to get an extended stay or homestead...I actually really like them. I'm just worried that since it's such a long booking, I'll end up in some odd place. :)
  5. Perhaps they have changed it recently, but you can book 30 days max. I am hoping to be able to get an extended stay type of place where there is a kitchenette. It seems with Hotwire, the longer I book, the more expensive it is.
  6. Hello all, I would like to ask for some suggestions as to how to proceed with this. I'm looking secure a month long stay in San Jose from 2/25 - 3/23 for as cheap as possible...here's my questions: In what duration should I book it in? 1 booking of the whole stay, 2 books of 2 wks each? etc How long should I wait before booking it? Should I look somewhere other than Hotwire/Priceline because it's such a long stay? And whether anyone else has done something similar and would kindly share their experience? It seems to be more expensive the longer the stay. Thanks in advance for your help...It's just a little nerve recking since it's such a long stay...
  7. Thu, 12/27/07 - Wed, 01/02/08, 6 nights Homestead San Jose - Milpitas $36/night +tax/fees = $243.31 total...I'm very happy! (This is my first post...but wanted to thank all others for help I've gotten from here before!)
