  1. PRICELINE EXPRESS Amenities as listed: Free Internet, Free Parking, Free Breakfast, Airport Shuttle, Business Center, Free Internet In Public Areas, Free Internet In Room, Fitness Center, Handicapped Rooms/Facilities, Non Smoking, Pets Allowed, Swimming Pool, Outdoor Swimming Pool The free airport shuttle also runs to areas within a 5 mile radius of the hotel. *Note - This hotel did not show up on my initial PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals search for the Irving - Las Colinas area. However, when I went to "Amenities" and checked "Airport Shuttle," this hotel showed up in the list.
  2. Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately we will not be there long. My wife and I are using Newark as a late night stopping off point on our trip from DC to NYC for the weekend. We won the Jersey City Hyatt Regency for Friday and Saturday night at $90/night (see other priceline win). :) Because of the small size of the Newark Zone, I figured I had a pretty good shot at the Hampton Inn by bidding on a 2*. I don't think that anyone has posted any 2* wins for that area, even when it was part of the EWR Zone, other than the Hampton. Merry Christmas!!!
  3. First bid was $80 + $10 Priceline bonus cash ($90 bid total), 4* Jersey City. Accepted. Hyatt Regency Jersey City On The Hudson 2 Exchange Place Jersey City, NJ 07302 201-469-1234 Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $80.00 (USD) ($80 + $10 Priceline bonus cash = $90 bid) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Guests Per Room: 2 Number of Nights: 2 Room Subtotal: $160.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $36.92 (USD) Total Room Cost: $196.92 (USD)
  4. New City Zone is now NJ - Newark. I believe that this used to be part of the NJ - Newark - Meadowlands (Newark - Airport EWR) zone. Now it looks like they have rezoned and created a "Newark" zone and a "Newark Airport (EWR) - Elizabeth" zone. - Bidded 2* $45 Newark and was countered with $58 offer. - Added 2* Jersey City and upped offer to $50. Accepted. Hampton Inn Newark-Harrison-Riverwalk 100 Passaic Avenue Harrison, NJ 07029 973-483-1900 Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $50.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Guests Per Room: 2 Number of Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $50.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $15.07 (USD) Total Room Cost: $65.07 (USD)
  5. Just an idea... If you were to add Dulles (IAD) to your list of airports that you are willing to fly out of, you might try Aerlingus. You may be able to find an affordable flight to Dublin, Ireland, and check SAS or Lufthansa for connecting flights into Oslo. I would assume that if you're going to be gone for almost a month, you'll have too much checked baggage to make Ryan Air an affordable option from Dublin to Oslo. They have really cheap fares, but charge crazy rates for checked baggage. If you were to use Aerlingus and chose to stay a night or two site seeing in Dublin, you could always use www.BetterBidding.com to find a hotel. Good luck with your search :)
  6. In reply to your statement - "If you really think these states need to be seprated you can easily create your own 'virtual forum'..." I understand how to search for "Tulsa" and "Tulsa Midtown." I was just trying to figure out what you meant by saying that I can easily create my own 'virtual forum' in order to separate Oklahoma from Oregon. I thought that you were this forum's moderator and you would be the only one who could that. The search that I was refering to in my last post was a search to find out how I could create my own 'virtual forum' so that I could separate Oklahoma from Oregon.
  7. I am a bit confused about what you mean by "easily create your own 'virtual forum.'" I'm not quite sure what you mean by this. I have done a "search" for "virtual forum" and can not find any instructions as to how I can do this. Thanks, Courtdane

Whenever I was finally able to get through on priceline's website, I didn't want to take the chance of losing it again. I will continue using the betterbidding.com links whenever possible :) P.S. It sure would be nice if OKLAHOMA and OREGON were separated.
