Just to let you know...I just won Crowne Plaza (3*) in Secaucus (just across Hudson River w/transportation nearby) for $121 a night- October 11-15, 2007. Not a bad purchase at all...I started with bid for $99 on Secaucus 3* & was told I could re-bid immediately if I increased bid by $22, which I did & won. Also- I added cancellation insurance ($20 total)- allows options when time gets closer. Good luck!

Bid on priceline for 3* Hotel in Secaucus, NJ... 1st bid: $99 (rejected) Then given opportunity to immediately rebid if I increased my bid by $22. 2nd bid: $121 WON!- Crowne Plaza/ Secaucus. Added $20 ($5/day) cancellation insurance (you never know!). Thus, entire stay is under $600 (whereas staying in Manhattan would have most likely cost at $1200).
