...well this is a first. I got a hotel that I did not expect. Might want to add The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa to the list of Hotels for Denver Downtown. Never heard of this hotel before, so I suppose I'll have to see how it goes. Rejected $85, $95. Accepted $100
Used the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins tool on this site to get a base of how much people were getting it for. Put in $110 and it was accepted by the Sheraton.
I'm bidding on 8/17-8/18 for the exact same area and rating as you and my bids at 140, 150, 160, and 170 have all been rejected. I assume that they will give you better deals if you're staying longer.
didn't end up using Priceline. I couldn't get a 4* for $175 or less....so for $199/night I booked the Paris since I didn't want to "gamble" on not getting something that I wanted.
I know it's hard to get good rates on Fri/Sat nights. A friend (making the exact same trip) got a 4* on the North Strip for $170 on priceline for the two dates I've listed, however I'm wondering if anyone has tips for a better deal? Paris website - $189, $209 Planet Hollywood - $199 x 2 Is it worth the risk to do Priceline at $170 considering it's not that much of a price difference? I would be happy to spend a little more on a nicer 4* (Ceasars) or a 5* for those dates but I wouldn't want to spend north of $250/night for both of those. Any thoughts?
