I went down to 2.5 stars and tried all the different areas and was up to $265 and nothing in San Fran Since we are actually going to Freemont, CA, I decided to change strategy and bid for Freemont Area I got this hotel and could not be happier since its right accross the place where we are going: $85/night Fremont Marriott Silicon Valley 3½ star Newark - Fremont 46100 Landing Parkway, Fremont, CA 94538 Check-In: Sun, Sep 22, 2013 / After 03:00 PM Check-Out: Mon, Sep 23, 2013 / 11:00 AM Rooms: 1 room / 1 night This is listing for $279 in marriott.com so I think its a fantastic deal. I only bid for 1 one in case I got a really bad hotel. I am going to now think about where to stay the night of the 23rd since San Fran has proven to be impossible. Newark is only a 45 min drive to san fran so I would not mind staying here. I will post my win for the second night :)

So I tried last night San Mateo and south san fran area up to $145 and no cigars We are actually going to Freemont, CA and wanted to stay/visit San Fran...I am very open to suggestions if you have any around this area and we can do day trips to San Fran :) I am going to try again today :)

The amenities on the express deal where: Indoor/outdoor pool Pets Allowed Business Center Fitness Center Bed Choice Available I really thought it was going to be the Canary , Kimpton Hotel, but as far as location I am very happy with the Fess Parkers. And like you said...on TA there is always whiners, that complain for the smallest details. So un update, we didn't end up going, dates got complicated so I will be trying again for late July/early August. I was wanting to get some guesses oon the Playa del Carmen North property since it was really discounted. Do you know if the comparable properties shown are in fact posibilities and if the discounted price is actually real? thank you
