  6. Looked a few weeks ago and the price was much higher for a 4* in Orlando, checked again today and it was now dropped to $86, so I took it at a slightly lesser price than my prior hotel reservation of $89 for a week earlier, expecting to get the Renaissance again, which I did. Amenities listed before buying were: Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access Renaissance Orlando Airport Hotel, 5445 Forbes Place, Orlando, FL 32812 Rate per night $86.00 Nights 1 Rooms (2 adults, 1 child) 1 Subtotal $86.00 Tax recovery charges + fees $20.07 Hotwire total $106.07
  7. Looked a few weeks ago and the price was much higher for a 4* in Orlando, checked again today and it was now dropped to $89, so I took it. Was hoping for the Hyatt that has the same amenity description, but got the Renaissance, but I'm sure it will be fine. 11. They tried to have us pay the resort fee saying not to book them if I didn't want to pay that. I explained it was PRICELINE, you do not pick the hotel, they pick you and they agreed to waive the fee.
  12. I starting bidding with PRICELINE and went all the way up to $127 to match the HOTWIRE offer total price in the hopes of getting the Westin but was rejected and thus went back to HOTWIRE and selected the offer which had gone up by $4 since yesterday to $124 a night. 16. With the new auto fill in sections for winning bids, what should we do about losing bids, should they be posted and if so how?
  17. After checking out HOTWIRE pricing first, I started bidding with the PRICELINE link and bid on a 5* Hotel in La Jolla up until my last bid of $253 which gave a total price of $875. I then returned to the HOTWIRE link and chose the previously shown offer of $247 for a total price of $876.36 for the 3 rooms with taxes and fees. The HOTWIRE amenities listed were (these need to go in the list of hotels section as 5* had no entries for HOTWIRE in La Jolla section of San Diego) and hotel showed a 95% satisfaction rating: Free InternetResortFitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterGolf NearbyTennis Nearby

  20. Using the PRICELINE link I offered $116 which was rejected, added another area (there are 3 others) without 4* hotels and bid again at $121 and was accepted (my wife says she tried $120 a few days ago and was rejected). I looked at prepay rate for hyatt which was $160 plus $22 resort fee and looked at hotwire (probably Hytatt too) which was $155 plus $22 resort fee, so $146 with no resort fee is way better. Note I stayed here before and was able to wrangle out of the resort fee since we were just there to sleep.
