I ended up not booking at the Ascot Suites due to the information given by young707. We ended up booking at the Inn at Morro Bay (horrible hotel) we drove to the Ascot Suites to see this place. 1st of all the Ascot Suites is only 1 mile from the Morro Bay Golf Course as we stayed directly across from the golf course and it was 1 mile to get to this place. Also its located 1 block to the waterfront NOT 3 blocks as there are no hotels close to the BEACH the closest hotel to the beach is at least 1/4 miles. We looked at the rooms at the Ascot Suites and wished we had booked. Next time if and when we in Morro Bay I would definitely book the Ascot Suites. Just my opinion

I am very positive that the 2.5* you referenced is the Breakers Motel that you booked for less. They have a pool, laundry and the restaurant is across the street and has nothing to do with the hotel. Surprise they are allowed the add the restaurant tag. You got the same hotel for less. Good Buy!

I just won on Priceline.com Aug 9th 2009. I bidded for 3.5 stars Redondo - Manhattan Beach at $44.00 didn't accept I added Venice Beach Area and bidded $47.00 and WON, not bad in my opinion reviews make it sound like the rooms are tired but @ 47$ it will do the trick. I won the Residence Inn Manhattan Beach total with tax $61.04. The cheapest rate avail from Marriott.com was AAA rate at $132.00 I used the PRICELINE.com link provided here. Thanks

***Update*** I gave up on watching hotwire and I read alot of messages of win on PRICELINE for the Sheraton Waikiki. So I bidded on priceline and WON. (I used this PRICELINE link on this board) Details. Bidded $92 rejected was offer the $22 offer to instant rebid refused I added a free zone Waikiki Marina $96 rejected I bidded $99 and WON Sheraton Waikiki 8/28 - 9/1/09 2 Rooms Thanks to this forum for all the assistance. Its time now to look for a hotel in Maui for 8/25 - 8/28

Need help IDing another property as the 1st is no longer showing up as avail. 4* Beachfront Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Center Laundry Arrival 8/28/09 Depart 9/1/09 Rate: $135 2Adults 1child When I seach on both browser back to back I noticed that every hotel that showed up had different rates example 2* $68 on mozilla the same place on safari showed up at $78. I am not interested in that would its a thought for other to trying using different browser for different rates for the same day, searched back to back. Thanks in advance
