  4. This kept coming up in my Hotwire listings: "Downtown Atlantic City area condo" After doing some research, I believe this offering is the Flagship All-Suites (a fantaSea resort). The only other possibility I came up with was the Wyndham Skyline and I noticed that the Wyndham is fully booked for the dates I'm looking at (June 14 - 16), so I was able to deduce that this offering isn't it, contrary to previous suggestions in this forum. The amenities are listed as follows: This Condo features the following amenities: 1 Bedroom Suite Fully-equipped Kitchen Indoor pool(s) Air-Conditioning Children's Activity Program Fitness Center Pool(s) Laundry Facilities (self-service) Golf Nearby Spa Services Condo

  6. Using the BetterBidding link to visit PRICELINE (of course!) I booked the Riverside Marriott for $65/nt (about 80 after taxes). Not a bad deal though the hotel gets luke-warm reviews on Tripadvisor. I tried bidding 55 before and it didn't go through - but upping to 65 worked.
  7. Used the BetterBidding PRICELINE links and booked this four star hotel for $102/night for 2 nights in March. I'm aiming to go to Harvard for an academic gathering so I'm a bit disappointed it that it's 30 or more minutes away by public transit when it's only a 10 minute drive - but nonetheless, should be able to figure it out. The tripadvisor reviews for this hotel are pretty outstanding - I'm confused as to how even the regular rate is only around $150 or $160.
  8. Booked this hotel yesterday. Was not so happy given some of the reviews this place received but all in all, a pretty outstanding price. Worth noting that this price was only a few dollars off of the price suggested at the hotel's website and on other travel websites. Amenities: Complimentary Breakfast, Business Center, High Speed Internet Access
  9. Amenities: Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), High Speed Internet Access (though the email confirmation to me includes Business Center instead of High Speed Internet)
  10. Price I posted is per night - I assume that's what is being asked for. I didn't check hotel amenities before submitting.
  11. Using BetterBidding link to PRICELINE - I tried bidding various ways including going as high as $205 for a 4* or 3.5* but couldn't get it. Finally tried out 3* and got the Holiday Inn Wall Street at $185/night. Hotel reviews look good, looking forward to my stay. FYI total after tax was $1,150.80 (including $25 Priceline Travel Insurance)
  12. I don't know if you guys need any more details - that pretty much sums it up. I won the Crowne Plaza on Priceline after trying $40 in the 6 or 7 zones (closest to the Country Club Plaza zone) with 4* and then 3.5* after which I added 3* and changed the amount to $38 and won.
  13. Check-in Date: Fri, Nov 20, 2009 / After 03:00 PM Check-Out Date: Sun, Nov 22, 2009 / 12:00 PM Amenities: Business services Remote control TV w/ premium channels Radio Alarm Clock Iron and ironing board Hairdryer Telephone w/ voicemail 24 hour front desk Total after taxes was $63/nt
  14. I just won the 3* Marriott Courtyard Midtown East (MTE) on Priceline for $140 for a 2 night stay from Nov 5th to the 7th. I went for this after realizing this is actually a better deal than many of the 3.5 and 4 star options. The Courtyard hotels in NYC (2 of them in Manhattan) are both ranked better than many other hotels (3.5 and 4 star) on Tripadvisor. This particular one is ranked by users as #18 out of 418 on Tripadvisor, FYI. ** Oh and YES I used the PRICELINE link from BetterBidding haha **
  15. Title and description say it all... saw a mid-size on HOTWIRE for $28.75, bid on PRICELINE for Mid-size and got it on my first bid at $18.
  16. I saw this hotel on HOTWIRE for $46/night... bid $34 on PRICELINE and won... the amenities on Priceline (I'm relaying them here based on my booking confirmation) are: Remote Control TV with Premium Channels Telephone with Voicemail Radio Alarm Clock Iron and Ironing Board Hairdryer Business Services 24 Hour Front Desk On-Site Dining FYI on HOTWIRE it says: Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access
  17. Since I replied privately to silvergga - I should also reply here... I don't think the hotels differentiate btwn Hotwire vs non-Hotwire, or discount vs non-discount. They treat you perfectly well and I've never noticed any different. I went to Aruba using Hotwire (got the Westin for SUPER cheap) and never any diff. treatment. Hope this helps clarify :-)
  18. Alright folks... so I decided that the 4.5* wasn't worth it but the 4* was... HOTWIRE had the same hotel now at $54/nt (Cheaper at night?!). I decided that since Hotels.com had the same hotel (Doubletree Paradise Valley) for only $66/nt... that I would give Priceline a shot with a lower bid. Sure enough, for 3 nights in early August (weeknights) - I bid $48/nt and got it. I probably should have aimed a bit lower to try it out - but hell that's $18 less a night... I doubt I could have gone TOO much lower than that. So there ya have it - 4* on PRICELINE with the aforementioned amenities... and it was indeed the Doubletree Paradise Valley hotel. I should add that after taxes the total came to: $171
  19. Sorry, I'm copying/pasting from the email I received after-the-fact... but this is the info on the hotel Amenities: Resort Boutique Hotel Airport Shuttle Pool(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services Total after tax is $158.43
  20. Booked a Full Size Car at PHX in early August and it was 24.95/day - coming out to $296 total. The rental place was Hertz.
  21. 4.5* in Scottsdale for $68/night Amenities shown: Resort Fitness Center Pool Restaurant(s) Business Center High Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services Tripadvisor: 4 out of 5 with 60+ reviews (last reviewed in June) 4* in Scottsdale for $56/night Amenities shown: Fitness Center Pool Restaurant(s) Business Center High Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Tripadvisor: No Tripadvisor rating shown! Also, if I wait - do folks think these prices will go up or down? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
  22. Booked the 3 star Mission Valley hotel in San Diego for $60/night and it turned out to be the Crowne Plaza Mission Valley Hotel.
