  1. Tried $53 was rejected then put in the going rate and got it. This one should be fun, I hear the rooms have been trashed by some of the world's greatest rock bands! I just ope they don't kick us out when they see my husband's ukulele-we are going to Hawaii first! Once again it was a few weeks ago but just adding to the database.
  2. This was from about 3 weeks ago but people are still getting it. It was a punt on my part as I was expecting the price to be $60-65, first try in this city. Just want to help you build your database as you have a really good site here.
  3. This is very interesting. It seems that Site59 does at least some of Priceline's packages-the last minute ones, and they are partners with lastminute.com which we have a branch here in Australia with an .au on the end. I had never even heard of site 59 until now-thanks alt438!
  4. This is awesome-finally an insider's guide! You can go one better. For Utell's Hotwire guidelines, use the same URL below and substitute Hotwire for Priceline. www.utellportal.com/Marketing/hotwire I tried Expedia and Orbitz but they weren't found. I suggest you print them out quickly-this appears to be a link into Utell's intranet and once they find out, they may block outsiders from getting in.
  5. Kailua Kona Zone. Hotel has lowest rate of $89 on it's website so I saved 27%. Don't have URL but if you search Roayal Kona Resort on Google it will come up. Looks like a really nice place and we are looking forward to staying there.
  6. Got it on the first try, seemed to be the going rate. Came to $154 including tax.
  7. OK, thanks anyway. If anyone has an educated guess, I would appreciate it. I am not real fussy on room quality since we won't be in it much-location is more important. I have backpacked all over the world and have seen much worse than anything Waikiki would dish out. :) Main thing is to be near the bus station-car rental is too expensive with all the insurance/CDW/parking fees added on, though we had to do this in Kona for lack of public transport. We will be out sightseeing from 0630-2200 so we will be too tired to notice what the room is like-we already have Royal Kona booked through Priceline for the more relaxing part of the trip. Got it for $65.
  8. We are going to Waikiki from 4-7 June and particularly want to be very close to Ala Moana Center since we are using buses to get to tourist attractions. I have been able to identify tht 2 Waterfront hotels as the Hawaii Prince and Rennaissance Ilikai based on your database. There are a few in the Waikiki Gateway area which I can't get-hoping someone could help me: 3* beach access, restaurant, pool, fitness, tennis, laundry $103 per night 2* beach access, restaurant, pool, laundry $57 per night 1* pool, tennis, laundry $53 per night Still haven't decided which star level to go for-those 4*ones look very tempting but we will be out sightseeing all day and not have time to enjoy the facilities so part of me is saying economize on the room. I am also checking out Priceline possibilites-only problem is their zone is too big and can't be sure to be near Ala Moana Center. Hotwire has much better zone definitions. Not sure where the border between Waterfront and Beachfront, which one has Hilton Hawaiian Village. Thanks for your help.
