I tried first at $68 no good added Outlets and raisied to $73 Not a huge savings since it is going for $82 at Sheratron's site. :)

I had a similar dilemma for my trip. In the end I decided to book at a moderate Disney hotel. Since as you mentioned the actual hotel is not the "destination" I decided that the Disney benefits of staying on property were worthwhile; the extra magic hours and free transportation. My thought was that by staying on site I do not need a car so the rate of the hotel about $70 per night is still cheaper than getting a nicer hotel for $60 night and adding a car and resort fees. It is a bad feeling to check into a hotel and know you are not paying less than everyone else. Also in my case Disney offered a ticket upgrade to include park hoppers for free.

I arrived well before check in time and asked the new tower. I was given a room in the new tower and allowed to check in a few hours early! The hotel was beautiful and the room was also very nice, staff was helpful and friendly. Very good location. Only minor complaint the Hotel was very busy and there was always a long wait to get the car from the valet and they would not let me call down for the car. I would stay here again.

I stayed there over the summer. I was given a ground room floor that was a very long walk from the main entrance. The room was dated but clean and a reasonable size. The pool is also on the small size. All in all a reasonable deal, I paid $90 + $24 parking. Great location OK hotel

Tried Back Bay & Downtown 4* for $60 Rejected :) Added South Boston 4* $71 rejected :) Added Brookline 4* $80 Success :o I realize that I could have used small increments but I thought my chances of < $80 were small so close to travel date

:) Bid $65 for downtown and was rejected added Coronado and upped bid to $70 accepted at 4* San Diego (Downtown) Manchester Grand Hyatt from Trip Advisor this looks great

Bid $60 for a 4* in Beverly Hills & Westwood rejected bid again for $75 accepted at Beverly Hilton
