Got this hotel very long time before so that my report on time couldn´t help anyone.

Just to let you know for the hotel list update. Very happy about this deal.

Hi all, planning our next 2017 (!) trip, was just strolling arround to check hotel rates in general and found an

unbelievable offer in Priceline Express. Of course underbid it and got this result that was a MUST 

to book - even you all smile about this booking date. But hey, interest rate for money is zero.zero, right ?

Our stay in Asheville is comming up at the end of May, so I can't yet tell you about  ;)

About bidding history, sorry to say, I don't really remember as at that time I booked lot's of other US hotels for our vacation trip,

but remembering my frustation it could have been my first try - so likely an overbid.

My comment on my bidding win means that I'd better bidding for 4* to avoid Crown Plaza.

As I know, bidding on 3* doesn't defend on winning Crown Plaza ... (Price.line!).

On the last day of our Washington stay we wanted to visit the Arlington cemetery - but hotels in Arlington are very expensive that time although one week before Memorial Day.

So we changed our plans to Alexandria and got a good deal. No promlem to drive by car to Arlington. And as always used the BB PRICELINE link.

Used BB PRICELINE link and tried in all common DC Downtown/White House areas. On their own Hilton web site they also offer a special deal, so not that much savings as Priceline tries to pretend. Glad though.

Quite early but I use to do so and want to "have in my pocket".

Perhaps I could do better - again I did not notice the EURO-default when starting Priceline. Bid 65 (€, but wanted $) that makes around  $87 and got it on first try. Used BB link, thanks.

Decided in March to extend our previously reported priceline hotel win of 10/16 until 10/18 by one more night using the Priceline offer to extend.

Not very often a win seen on Cape Cod. But season has gone in October - so I tried.

This was my mistake while bidding on Priceline since several monthes, also on Providence RI. But always DOWNTOWN using the rebid zones like Warwick.

As sh*t happens - I forgot to logout and to start again, suddenly I got this "win".

I am sure that I could have done cheaper - and that in our favorite DOWNTOWN instead somewhere around.

Decided to extend our just reported Burlington stay on 10/04 until 10/06 , but instead of choosing additional nights as offered by PRICELINE I started a new bid, however lower.

And as expected got the same hotel. Well, seems pretty clever. On the other hand, why that much before ... grrr.
