  1. I agree with AaronJB that the Entertainment District hotel is probably the Holiday Inn Vancouver Downtown. If you change the search parameters to 4 adults, the 3* hotel in the Downtown South zone shows the above amenities plus pool, and a TripAdvisor rating of 3.5. This is a match for the Holiday Inn Vancouver Centre.
  2. Welcome to BetterBidding, androy23. Hotwire shows a maximum of 8 amenities in the initial search results. To see all the amenities when there's more than 8, you need to click "Continue" to see more information on the hotel, then click the link "See all amenities". In the future, please remember to do this and list all of the amenities shown. Do the amenities for the 4* hotel in North Scottsdale include Tennis, Spa, and Children's Activities in addition to the ones above? If so, this set of amenities is a match for the Westin Kierland Resort, so that would be my guess. The 4* in Fountain Hills - Fort McDowell has not been identified; my best guess would be the Radisson Fort McDowell Resort & Casino. There's no way to know whether rates will go up or down in the next few months, but I suspect that the deals on Hotwire aren't going to get any better. If you decide to book one of these hotels, please start your purchase from the Hotwire link on this site.
  3. It would probably be no better than the backup, and would cost more after Hotwire's fees were added in. Neelee, if you're going to bid as high as $58 (the cost of your backup), I would strongly recommend that you not settle for a 2*. The quality of 2* hotels on Priceline is too unpredictable to justify spending more (after Priceline fees) than the cost of the Tulip Inn.
  4. My best guess is the Hawthorn Suites Tempe, upgraded to 3* since it was last reported and with High-Speed Internet as an additional amenity.
  5. The set of amenities is a match for the Best Western Tempe By The Mall, so that would be my guess. In the future, don't include the explanations for each amenity; we already know what they mean, and they make your post harder to read. If you decide to book this hotel, please start your purchase through the Hotwire link on this site.
  6. My best guesses (and like AaronJB, I must emphasize that these are only guesses): 3.5* condo: Bluegreen Club 36 (rooms at the Hilton Grand Vacations don't appear to have full kitchens, which must include stove-tops and dishwashers). 2.5* condo: Summer Bay Resort.
  7. Welcome to BetterBidding, localvancouvergirl. The set of amenities is a match for both the Pan Pacific and Sutton Place hotels. However, if you change your search parameters to 2 adults/1 child, the hotel that comes up has the same rate and amenities, but shows a TripAdvisor rating of 4.5. Although Hotwire's TA information is rarely up-to-date, the hotel is far more likely to be the Pan Pacific based on this rating. My best guess for the hotel in your original search, therefore, is the Pan Pacific as well. If this is the hotel you want, you may want to book as 2 adults/1 child because the extra information gives us a stronger match. If you decide to book this hotel, please start your purchase from the Hotwire link on this site.
  8. The fact that this hotel is rated 2* would eliminate the Courtyard immediately. If you book a Hotwire 2* hotel expecting anything nearly that good, you'll be sorely disappointed. My best guess (though I wouldn't want to bet money on it) is the Clackamas Inn; the Days Inn Portland South and the Clackamas Sunnyside Inn are also possibilities.
  9. The set of amenities is a match for the Sheraton Phoenix Airport, so that would be my guess. Hotwire moved the boundaries for the Tempe-ASU and Phoenix Airport zones twice in the past few months; the zone in which the Sheraton was located changed both times as a result. After the latest change, the hotel was incorrectly placed in the Chandler-South Tempe zone on the hotel list.
  10. You didn't miss anything -- that's a new development. The hotel lists for these new zones can be found here.
  11. Priceline's Scottsdale zone has been split into two zones: Scottsdale and North Scottsdale. Phoenix (Scottsdale) Resort Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort Resort Scottsdale Resort and Conference Center 4* Doubletree Paradise Valley 4* Hilton Scottsdale Resort 4* Mondrian 4* Scottsdale Plaza Resort 3* Courtyard Old Town 3* Hotel Indigo 3* Millenium McCormick Ranch 3* Scottsdale Cottonwoods Resort (formerly Renaissance) (no longer a Marriott property) 3* Residence Inn Paradise Valley 3* Hyatt Place 2* Homestead Scottsdale Phoenix (North Scottsdale) 4* Orange Tree Golf Resort 3* Courtyard Scottsdale North REVIEW 3* Residence Inn Phoenix North 3* Thunderbird Suites REVIEW 2.5* Hilton Garden Inn North/Perimeter (the other HGI is in the Scottsdale zone) 2.5* Springhill Suites 2* Extended Stay Deluxe One more Priceline Phoenix update: the La Quinta Inn Chandler has been upgraded to 2.5*. Also, these earlier updates don't appear to have been made to the respective hotel lists.
  12. If I was forced to guess the identity of the 3* property, I would go with the Hospitality Suites Resort. But I wouldn't like my chances of being right.
  13. Welcome to BetterBidding, shmerham. Hotels are not required to list all of their amenities on Hotwire. Given the hotel's TripAdvisor rating of 3, my best guess is the Comfort Inn Vancouver Airport, despite the fact that it was previously reported with a different star level and set of amenities. If you decide to book this hotel, please start your purchase through the Hotwire link on this site.
  14. The 4* appears to be a match for the Sheraton. If I recall correctly, the 3* is a match for the Strathcona; I believe this hotel used to be on the hotel list, but was lost during a recent update.
  15. It's very unlikely that this hotel is the Hyatt; according to their website, there are no available rooms there for your dates. It could be the Hilton Suites, however, since it also has a TA rating of 4. Why don't you want to stay at the Hyatt?
  16. If you're bidding below 4* and you want to avoid the Delta Chelsea, bid for the Downtown South zone only.
  17. My best guess for the 2.5* star is the Isabella Hotel; a number of people have asked for an ID of this hotel, but we have not been able to confirm its identity. The set of amenities for the 2* hotel is a match for the Super 8 Downtown Toronto (previously reported here). As thereuare mentioned, you can often get a 4* hotel through PRICELINE for about the same rate as HOTWIRE is asking for these places; are you looking for something specific?
  18. I suggest that you try the process yourself. Start a bid and fill in the information they ask for (reading everything carefully along the way), but stop when they ask for your credit card data. Since this comes at the end, you'll be able to see what you can and cannot specify in a PRICELINE bid.
  19. Redmond 3*: This hotel has not been identified; my best guess is the Silver Cloud Redmond. The Fairfield Inn Bellevue is also a possibility, though less likely I think given the star level. Southcenter - Tukwila - Renton 3*: The set of amenities is a match for the Courtyard Seattle Sea-Tac. Downtown Bellevue 3*: This hotel has not been identified, but if you change the search parameters to 2 adults/1 child, the 3* hotel in this zone shows the same amenities plus complimentary breakfast. That set of amenities is a match for the Silver Cloud Bellevue; my best guess is that the hotel in your original search is the same. If you like the Silver Cloud and are willing to spend a little more, you may want to book as 2 adults/1 child to be more confident that you will get it.
  20. If you search for hotels through Priceline's retail service, Priceline will almost never show everything that's available; it's not uncommon for hotels to disappear and reappear if you perform the same search on different days. In my experience, every hotel sold through Name Your Own Price can be found somewhere on Priceline's website if you look carefully (for example, here's the listing for the Sofitel Miami). Priceline's Travel Guides and BB's own Maps and Hotels are useful tools for finding hotels that are available through Priceline and checking their current star levels. As Romelle already explained, finding out what star levels are available in a given zone is no mystery; Priceline will tell you when you select the zone.
  21. Welcome to BetterBidding, teenytinywahine. What are the check-in/check-out dates for your stay?
  22. Both the Sheraton and Hyatt Regency (as well as the Hilton) have been reported with this set of amenities; the amenities alone are not enough to determine which hotel KTWD was seeing at the time. joselitomicho, welcome to BetterBidding. Please post the details of your purchase in a separate topic.
  23. I think I see the same hotel, but it's recommended by 85% of customers (500+ reviews). The set of amenities has been reported for more than one hotel in this zone, but one of the reviews mentions an indoor/outdoor pool, so my best guess would be the Hilton. If you decide to book this hotel, please start your purchase from the HOTWIRE link on this site.
  24. That looks like a match for the Hyatt Regency. If you decide to book this hotel, please start your purchase from the Hotwire link on this site.
