4* New York (MTE) Intercontinental The Barclay 7/7 & 7/8 07/07/08 to 07/09/08 - Started bidding at $120, increased by $5 or $10 a few times, and accepted at $165. added MTW,Times Square, as well as all the other non 4 Star areas like chelsea, long island city, upper east, upper west, Definitely used the PRICELINE link :)

1st try $100 for Sat March 9th at 4* Renaissance Harborplace Hotel 03/09/08 (inter harbor). I should have started lower - very sorry I didn't - but its for my sister-in-law anyway.

4* USE - Hilton Financial District, $99 per night. Do not think you are going to get Westin bidding USE in priceline. You might get lucky, but its a roll of the dice!!!!

I recently used priceline for 8/12 to 8/15. I bid up to $99 per night trying to get westin (USE) , and I got the Hilton. I called Priceline and argued this wasnt in the USE zone. After about 3 hours they let me cancel and I booked with Hotwire at the WESTIN ST FRANCIS for $ 127 per night.
