I love to book through this link and I am kind of stuck, I want to spend 2 days right on the ocean with a clean room. how can I find a decent place around Daytona, cocoa beach or Ormond beach and know I will get a property right on the Beach?

Hang in there! I had the exact same problem bidding over $90.00 then one day I bid 70 with a counter offer to add 22.00 I didn't accept, then they took my offer of 78 as you can see in my priceline win below...

I bid up to $92 , I think this is my limit as I need 2 rooms and will have to pay for parking as well. I might book 2 bedroom staybridge inn with free diner and free parking for 189.00 plus tax my family enjoys stopping at Baltimore inner harbor for the night, on our way to Hilton Head Island,SC but it will end up costing over $300...

Maybe the reason I was a little surprised, inner harbor has the best deal star...for 4* maybe one shouldn't follow that as an indicator of the price...

I looked up historical bids for this time of year and my bid was pretty close, and even higher... Maybe I am bidding too early for this trip?

I bid only 4* then used hull or Gloucester as free rebid. I have stayed at the Marriott Ottawa before and found the hotel very nice, and very accommodating to priceline. I phone reservations requesting 2 beds, not a problem.

I bid priceline first 55 free rebid 60 accepted one night 12/27/08 Marriott comes to 96 CDN Marriotts price was 99 then went up to 119 I am so sorry, I love this board and always support it but I forgot to use the PRICELINE link when booking :)

Bid all the way up to 110 , and yet most travellers only pay 85 :)
