Sorry Stu, but even on a non-football weekend the cheapest PL rate for 3.5* (Marriott Ypsilanti or Sheraton South) is $60 ($73/tax fees). I spend quite a few weekends at AA and the $60 is the lowest rate for a very dependable hotel (your choices are pretty limited in AA). Good luck. Gator91

Started at $41 before winning Crowne Plaza at $45 - of course I used the PRICELINE link. Thanks for all the other bidders.

Started at $37 for the 3* DT Courtyard but went through 4 rebids up to $45 to get the Crowne Plaza. Nicer than I thought-maybe nicer that the 4* Hyatt and free street parking 6PM-7AM. I think I used the PRICELINE link to book...

Thanks for the previous posts - I low balled but figure $76 is the cheapest PL rate. Overall, this is the best luxury hotel for many miles and with large, renovated rooms which include free WIFI. The only downside to DT Louisville is the City/Metro PARC garages which charge $16/24 hours all day every day of the week. There are adjacent private surface lots for $5 and limited street parking, but the City funnels visitors into its garages. I used the PRICELINE link for my purchase. Thanks!

My first post in thanks to the Board. First quote was $114, but wanted to confirm I used BetterBidding.com link to HOTWIRE and came up with $99! Total $117.80 with tax/fees - best rate was $269. Many thanks - no Hotwire "surprises" bidding for this 4* hotel.
