I just saw your follow-up note...here's the full amenities list from the Best Western Village Inn reservation:

The hotel had some of the friendliest staff I've encountered in recent memory, and one of the better breakfasts for a freebie.
Thanks again.
This is a new one for the Hotwire list for Fresno-Northwest. Thought I'd likely be getting the La Quinta, instead got the Picadilly Inn Shaw, rated three stars.

Have stayed at this property before, usually quiet, breakfast is served in the bar and so-so. Convenient to North Central/West Fresno. Regular rate for these dates was $99, Hotels.com had a AAA rate of $78. With taxes and fees about $74 a night total through Hot.wire.
This is a new hotel not found on the existing Hotwire list for this area. 2.5* with 65% positive reviews on Hotwire, 3.5 out of 5.0 on Trip Advisor. Located on Blackstone at Shields near CA 41 on the southern end of the Fresno North zone. Hotwire listed regular price of $114, available elsewhere online at $81 for this stay. Amenities include:
Free Parking
Free Breakfast
Free Internet
Pet friendly
Pool(s)
Business Center
Self service laundry
The hotel's page also says rooms have refrigerators and that local calls are free.
Rooms are usually less expensive in Fresno, and more are available, but all the northern zone three-star hotels were gone or at full price because of Fresno State's last home football game that weekend.
Bid $71 based on last win at Burbank Airport Marriott for a 3.5*. Offered free rebid at $88 which I decided to take because of short time available. Won Hilton Glendale at that price, which isn't as convenient as the Marriott but does offer an airport shuttle to Burbank. $19 parking is nuts, will be looking for local street parking nearby. Total with taxes and fees for two nights is $208.96. Hilton rate for those nights was $149.
Dates of the stay were March 22-23.
Also, this hotel does not offer the regular cook-to-order breakfast seen in many other Doubletree properties. They instead have a cold breakfast buffet for $10 or a hot buffet with scrambled eggs and meat for $15. Room service is available for other breakfast choices.
Started bid at $49 hoping to get 3.5* Hilton Orange County Airport. Bid was rejected and a free rebid offered for $62. Added Irvine Spectrum/Laguna Hills at $55, which was accepted for the Doubletree Orange County Airport. Regular Priceline price for the same stay was $99. Total with taxes and fees $69.58.
Note: This hotel has a $15 self-parking fee - ouch.
Reviewed multiple forums and chose to bid $50, which was accepted first time. Total with taxes and fees $121.54 - Priceline offered additional nights at same rate. Hotel was available through Hotwire (which rates this hotel as a 3*) for $58 per night for the same period.
Bid up to $56 for a 3* in the same area and dates and was rejected.
Booked a standard SUV at Detroit DTW through Hotwire advertised at $17.95 a day from 11/2-11/5. Expected to get Alamo or Dollar - got Hertz instead - Hertz stock rate for the same period and class was $61.49 per day plus taxes and fees.

This is reported as a common winning bid for this star level near DTW on PRICELINE, although the Marriott is most often reported at $40 and the Embassy Suites at $50 - both 3.5*. I bid $50 hoping to get the Embassy Suites and got the Marriott instead. Also tried to get Friday night but was unable to get 3.5* up to a $60 bid, eventually got the same Marriott through HOTWIRE for $56 for Friday a few days later. This hotel wasn't available over the weekend...then popped up today...and then came right back off after I booked it. It appears the only amenity that differs from the 3.5* Embassy Suites on the Pinned amenities is Smoke Free Rooms...I saw that difference, figured I'd likely get the Marriott, and did. Could have booked a second room at $51 if needed off the original reservation. Had tried to Priceline bid this star level over the weekend at up to $60 without success for Friday, did get this same Marriott on Sunday through Priceline for $50. Regular room rate here runs $79-$99 depending on where and how it's booked.

Hi Aaron...tried to PM you...the Southwest added to the title is missing a "u"...if you can fix...feel free to delete this message...thanks.
Loos like the same "Sothwest" typo is in the header on the pinned lists as well. Thanks.

This hotel was listed as $79 on other sites by Hotwire, normal rate shown on the Staybridge Web site for that evening was $119.00, now sold out. This hotel is a newer property (2008) off I-475 and SR24 in the Shops at Fallen Timbers. The listing appeared to come off Hotwire for that night right after I booked it, but the window confirming the reservation allowed me to book an added room for $48. 4.8 of 5 on Expedia, 4 of 5 on Trip Advisor.
Bid $38 for Las Cruces 2.5* hoping to get SpringHill Suites other Priceline 2.5* bidders have been getting in Las Cruces. Bid accepted instead for Best Western Mission Inn. Total with taxes and fees $53.02. AAA Web rate $77 plus tax.

Booked this with an opening bid of $80...was a little surprised as I expected I'd likely get the Holiday Inn Express...not an easy market to decode as there are few reported bookings in Lodi through Priceline forums. Lowest rates through other services/bookings were in the $101-$107 range for these dates, so it was a good deal but not exceptional. There is also a rating conflict as Hotwire shows a 3 star property in Lodi with very high customer ratings - no one else shows any 3 star property - it's the Holiday Inn Express which Hotwire calls a 3 star through its Standard Rate hotels...everyone else calls it 2.5. Trip Advisor customer ratings show this as a 4, Hotels.com a 3.8. Includes breakfast, parking and Internet...hotel surveys show mostly positive reviews on the breakfast, Internet is somewhat sketchy. Noise mentioned from I-5 and a nearby truckstop in a number of reviews. Bad pillows also mentioned, so you may want to bring your own.
