  2. Used boards HOTWIRE link to book this Best Western Lakeside (2.5*) 7769 West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway Kissimmee, Florida34747 Amenities. (Same as boards) Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool Restaurant Business Center Laundry Facilities High-speed Internet Access This is the best keep secret in Orlando if you're ok with 2-story motel buildings. I have stayed here 2 times before. And was very happy :) to score this for a long stay. There is a resort fee at $2.50 that includes parking. Micro + refrigerator in room. Super clean newer rooms and perfect grounds with 2 pools. YellowDog.
  3. I saw today that my last leg (5/23-5/28) for Florida is including memorial day weekend. I did some google about the holiday but I get conflickting information if it's a bigger "travel" holiday or not? Or is it more a family/at home holiday? I have looked at several hotels rackrates for my area (Ft. Lauderdale) but can't see any peak yet for the dates. Could someone advice me, I have never been to The USA during this holiday. Thanx in advance! YellowDog.

  5. toledo, This is the Fort Lauderdale Hollywood zone If you need any help so just start a new post. YellowDog.
  6. It's included in the $8/night resort fee! YellowDog.
  7. 1. Please complete your Yuma priceline post 2. If you go back to HOTWIRE and click the continue button next to this offering and then click the "See all amenities" link under the icons, do you see more amenities than what you've listed for the hotel? YellowDog.
  8. Welcome to BetterBidding! You have to search for a room that sleeps four people. I did a search on your dates at four people but can't see the hotel. How many adults/children did you search for? YellowDog.
  9. Tash79, Ok, we know that there is a one 50K person and another 22K person convention. The case might be that block reservations are made at some hotels. That would explain the high rates. I still get the $77 rate for Treasure Island :) I looked at HOTWIRE today. And it looks like Trump is up for $81 (5/20-5/22). Lowest single night rate for Ventian during your stay is $260. So I doubt that you will hit at $100 even if splitting your stay. For the moment is this correct to assume ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- You're ok with any 5* hotel in the North Zone so give PRICELINE a try! It's free and it's fun :) The information you get from me is only what I think and guess. Since your dates are firm so roll the dice...... Your first Vegas bet! Please use boards PRICELINE link for your adventure. YellowDog.
  10. Please start with follow-up your Hotwire Lake Union post. And then bump this thread. YellowDog
  11. kimmyannangel, are you planing to stay at the same date? If not, start a new thread to be on the safe side so this could be doublechecked. YellowDog.
  12. Welcome to BetterBidding! just a few pointers to help you with the stay. You must search for the amount of rooms/people you need to do a proper ID of the expected hotel. You can't search for 1 room and expect to get X amount rooms at the same hotel. I would search for max rooms/people to get an idea what to expect. And buying 1 room at the time don't guarantee that you will get the same hotel 3 times in a row. Since inventory change all the time. We have a very good member for Chicago area so I'm sure he we join the post and can shine some light over the bed question, location etc. But you need to know the correct amount of rooms you need for the stay. YellowDog.
  13. The board needs to know your date(s) for the stay to help you ID this. YellowDog.

  18. Welcome to BetterBidding! This is a match for the Intercontinental Montelucia Resort and Spa. So that would be my best guess. Please use the boards HOTWIRE link if you decide to go for this. YellowDog.

  24. Tash79, I have looked some more at Vegas for you. And your saying that Treasure Island would be ok. Treasure Island can be booked directly for $77/night + tax/deluxe room. This would be an easy and good solution for your stay. If you decide to go for this so please use boards Treasure Island link at the support page YellowDog.
  25. There is a few things. And the rack rates are very high for some nights during your stay. And we typically don't see PRICELINE wins in the lower range with that kind of rack rates. And something is going on in vegas during your stay. Some hotels have extremley high rates. Yes, this is a common mistake many do. Wins are all date sensitive. Everything is about supply/demand. Peak/non peak seasson, winter/summer, holiday/non holiday, weekday/weekend, convension/ non convension etc etc. So, you can't look at past prices. Yesterday I saw hotels charging $600/night that can be wone for $75 some times. Before we go any deeper in this is there a few things the board need to know to help you so you can get a great 30th birthday :) 1. Are you willing to accept any of the reported 5* hotels in the North Strip PRICELINE zone? Including the Trump non casino hotel? 2. What is your maximum budgett/night before taxes? YellowDog.
