  1. Welcome to BetterBidding :) This is a match for Bilderberg Garden Hotel. So that would be my best guess. Please use boards HOTWIRE link if you decide to go for this hotel YellowDog.
  2. Welcome to BetterBidding! I belive that you don't have listed all the amenities for this hotel. If you go back to HOTWIRE and click the CONTINUE button next to this offering and then click the "See all amenities" link under the icons, do you see more amenities than what you've listed above? YellowDog.
  3. Welcome to BetterBidding :) There is no general answer to your question, but this is a good link:Should i Bid Early or Close to Arrival Date You have a longer stay. And if this was my stay would i try to close this on the "early side" to keep it simple and avoid to split the stay. If you don't want to stay in 2 diffrent areas? also take a look at HOTWIRE to get a feeling for the current rates. PRICELINE is general cheaper but you have the "unknown" factor with them. Please post with any question. YellowDog.
  4. Welcome to BetterBidding :) Start with reading this: I've never used Priceline or Hotwire. And post back with your thoughts. YellowDog.
  5. Welcome to BetterBidding! Can you please post the date(s) for your stay. YellowDog.
  6. Welcome to BetterBidding :) The Coast Plaza Hotel and Suites has been upgraded* from 3* to 3.5* so there is a match for this hotel. That would be my best guess. Please us boards HOTWIRE link if you decide to book this hotel. YellowDog. Admin. Upgrade per VP 14-17 April.
  7. Welcome to BetterBidding :) To start with, rates are date sensitive. So you can't compare old wins with your stay. Rates for 4* in the beach zones are very high for your dates. Do you know if some special event is going on? I belive that a 3* hotel is more realistic If you have the $90 rate in mind. I looked at HOTWIRE and if 3* is an option is there a few places. But you have to take a look at so the zones are ok for you. How high have you bid for a 3* vs 4*?. And what is maximum/night for a 3* vs 4* hotel? YellowDog.
  8. Welcome to BetterBidding :) I can't get the same hotel to appear. How many rooms/adults/children have you searched at? YellowDog.
  9. Welcome to BetterBidding :) The board would be happy to help you with your stay but we need more information how you would like to do this. Please start with reading this: I've never used Priceline or Hotwire and post back with your thoughts. YellowDog.
  10. The 4* hotel is a match for The Galt House Hotel & Suites. So that would be my best guess. The 4.5* is not reported to the board and I can't get a match for this place. Maybe admin can shine some light over this hotel. Please use boards HOTWIRE link if you decide to go for any of the hotels. Have a nice trip! YellowDog.
  11. The 4.5-star hotel in Downtown is a match for Le Pavillon so that would be my best guess. The 4* in French Quarter is a match for several hotels. And there is some upgrade* in this zone so I better leave this to admin to help you with this. Have a nice trip! * Upgarde for this zone is posted in the regular thread.
  12. HOTWIRE change per VP April 9-13 New Orleans (French Quarter) 3.5* Westin New Orleans at Canal Place is now 4* YellowDog.
  13. Welcome to betterBidding You can't target a specific hotel on PRICELINE. I belive HOTWIRE is a better option for you. The board can sometimes ID the hotels before you decide to book them. Take a look at HOTWIRE and post back with your thoughts. YellowDog.
  14. Welcome to BetterBidding :) The Orlando Vista hotel has been upgraded back to 3* so this amenitie combo is a match for both Orlando Vista and the Best Western Lake Buena Vista. Good question, I have never thought about this. And I can't give you a correct answer. What I know is that the Best Western charges $7/night resort fee. The Orlando Vista has some smaller fee ($1-$1.50) but I don't know how they handle this with a HOTWIRE resarvation. Maybe someone can shine some light over the no mentioning of resort fee on the HOTWIRE page. Please use boards HOTWIRE link if you decide to go for this hotel. YellowDog Admin. Upgrade per VP April 20-27.
  15. Yes, 4* and up. How much did you bid when you got this counter offer? If you decide to do this so please use the link to Monte Carlo at boards support pageJust post if you need any further help. Please use boards PRICELINE link for all your bidding YellowDog.
  16. Welcome to BetterBidding :) Can you please post your date(s) for your stay. YellowDog.
  17. Welcome to BetterBidding :) By the latest reports to the board is the Monte Carlo the only 3.5* hotel. But there is a possibility to get an upgrade using PRICELINE. So you can also get any of the 4* hotels. Inc. The Westin that is slight of the strip. And star ratings can change at any time. YellowDog.
  18. Welcome to BetterBidding! Can you please post your date(s) for the stay. YellowDog.
  19. Welcome to BetterBidding :) The best thing you can do is to look at HOTWIRE in your preferd zone what hotels they offer within your budget. If you need help to ID any hotel so post all the amenties for the hotel and what zone the hotel is located in this thread. If you need help with a PRICELINE strategy. So please post your maximum for 3* vs 3.5* hotels YellowDog.
  20. The board need to know the date for your stay. Without that can nobody use your information. YellowDog.
  21. Click the "See all amenities" link under the icons, do you see more amenities than what you've listed above?
  22. Please start with follow-up your Hotwire NYC stay first. And then bump this thread. YellowDog.
  23. Yes, you are. Both Venetian and Wynn has been reported with this amentie combo. But my best guess for your hotel would be the Wynn. Please use boards HOTWIRE link if you decide to go for this. Good Luck in Vegas! YellowDog. PS. I have never stayed at Wynn so I can't speak for it. But Spoke to a friend the other day that has a co worker that have stayed there many times. And he said it's top notch! Many people seems to like the North part of the strip better. MGM is located in the South corner. I do like the MGM as a hotel, It's huge! And the lions are very fun to look at. I know admin said in a recent post the he liked the 5* beter in the Nort zone better than the MGM. But I think he was comparing MGM to Venetian and Palazzo. I can't find the post right now but I'm sure he will join this one with some advice.
  24. No problem, it's an ordinary mistake :) My best guess for this hotel would be The Sheraton Gateway. Please use the boards HOTWIRE link if you decide to go for it. YellowDog.
  25. Welcome to BetterBidding :) Can you please post your date(s) for the stay. YellowDog.
