  1. First bid was accepted. Resort fee was $5 per day. Suncoast Hotel and Casino 9090 Alta Drive Las Vegas, NV 89145 I used your PRICELINE link. Thanks, Betterbidding.
  2. First bid was accepted for a Sunday night. Regular rate was $117. Resort fee $25 extra. Subtotal: $40.00 Taxes and fees: $12.29 Total: $52.29 I used your PRICELINE link!
  3. $40 was rejected. Indigo's regular rate was $129. I tried Add a Night for 1/14 and Priceline said it would be $100. No thanks. Made other plans. Indigo is Downtown near the pier, good area. I used your PRICELINE link.
  4. I won the Four Points SFO for $48. $45 was rejected in SFO South and North. Four Points by Sheraton SFO 246 South Airport Blvd. San Francisco, CA 94080 Offer price: $48.00 Tax and fee: $14.72 Total: $62.72 I used your link. Thanks BetterBidding!
  5. Complimentary breakfast, fitness center, pool, business center, highspeed internet access. Comfort Inn and Suites Newark 5977 Mowry Newark CA 94560 I stayed here before when it was Holiday Inn Express. Thanks BetterBidding!
  6. $40 was a great price for the Holiday Inn Express with breakfast and parking included. My first bid was accepted. I used your PRICELINE link.
  7. I didn't see this Best Western on your list. First bid was accepted. Maybe I could have got it for less. I used your link. Best Western Expo Inn 1413 Howe Avenue Sacramento, CA 95825 Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $42.00 Subtotal: $42.00 Taxes & Fees: $13.12 Total Charges*: $55.12
  8. We ended up staying at the Courtyard three nights. Used Add a Night to get Sunday night. Bid $38 on Monday and won it again.
  9. I used the Savingsbarn and bid $38 for 2*. Bid accepted and upgraded to 2.5*.
  10. When I was bidding for Tucson last week Priceline didn't have a 3* option in North Tucson. Just 1*, 2*, and Resort. Maybe you got upgraded from 2* to Resort?
  11. I used the BetterBidding HOTWIRE link to purchase this for $57. Holiday Inn Express San Bernardino 450 North G Street San Bernardino, CA 92410 The amenities were: Breakfast Business Center Highspeed Internet Fitness Center Laundry Before I bought this on Hotwire I bid $40 for a 2* on Priceline and was rejected. The lobby and rooms at the Holiday Inn Express were good but the hotel is on the fringe of downtown San Bernardino and not a good area. Most of the hotels in San Bernardino are on Hospitality Lane which is a better neighborhood with restaurants and shopping nearby. A lot of the stores near Holiday Inn Express were boarded up or had metal gates over the windows. It didn't feel like a safe area to me and I wouldn't want to stay there again.
  12. This is a tough week for bidding in Tucson. Baseball spring training start and there's a big golf tournament in town. I was able to get the Doubletree for $75 for Saturday and Sunday nights, but for Monday and Tueday I bid up to $85 for a 2.5* and $60 for a 2* without luck. Ended up using points.
  13. Doubletree Tucson 445 South Alvernon Way Tucson, AZ 85711 I had to place over a dozen bids to win this through SavingsBarn. Phoenix and Tucson were cheaper last winter! $70 for 2.5* in Tucson East rejected. $75 bid upgraded to 3* Doubletree. Price on Doubletree's website $209. Prior bids of $65 for 3* rejected in Tucson Central and $55 for 2* in East, Central, and West also rejected.
  14. Used the SavingsBarn PRICELINE links and won this: Residence Inn Phoenix 8242 North Black Canyon Highway Phoenix, AZ 85051 $55 for 2.5* was rejected. $60 accepted. I tried Add a Night to extend my stay by one day and Priceline said the hotel had no inventory for Friday night.
  15. I purchased this for $80 on Hotwire yesterday, using the BetterBidding link. Sheraton Phoenix Airport Hotel Tempe 1600 South 52nd Street Tempe, AZ 85281 Hotwire calls the hotel a "Customer Favorite" and it has these icons: Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Pool Restaurant I wanted a 2.5* or better in Scottsdale or Tempe. First I tried Priceline, bidding to $75 for a 2.5* in Scottsdale. Priceline said no. I didn't bid Tempe on Priceline because there's a hotel in Tempe I didn't want. Hotwire had this $80 3* in Tempe or an $87 3* in Scottsdale. I chose Tempe because of the "Customer Faovorite" tag. I've always had good luck with hotels that Hotwire calls Customer Favorite. The hotel is $139 on Sheraton's website. I don't see this Sheraton in your Hotwire list.
  16. Update. Enjoyed the hotel and freeway noise wasn't too bad. Tried Add a Night to get two more nights, Sunday and Monday. Priceline said "no inventory". Tried Add a Night for one night, Sunday. Priceline didn't allow request because I'd already tried Add a Night once. I bid Sunday night by itself and first bid of $45 for 3* was accepted, by the same Holiday Inn! Used your Savingsbarn. Tried to get Monday night by Add a Night. Priceline said "no inventory". For Monday I bid up to $55 for a 2.5* in Metrocenter, Peoria, Scottsdale, Mesa and Tempe zones. All rejected. Stayed at Best Western, paid full price ($80).
  17. I used the Savingsbarn and won the Crowne Plaza in Phoenix. $42 for 2.5* rejected. $46 accepted and upgraded to 3*. A few days earlier I bid to $55 for a 2.5* without luck. My room faces the freeway and there's some noise, but not too bad. I was expecting that since they gave me earplugs with my room key when I checked in. Otherwise a good hotel.
  18. We liked the hotel and booked an additional night on HOTWIRE after checking in. The second night was $48 too. Hotel had lots of personality. It's a 1960's motor court that's been restored in Hawaiian/tropical theme. Large pool. Attractive grounds. Two restaurants on premises, Hawaiian barbeque and Mexican. Staff very friendly and rooms in good condition.
  19. I used the Savingsbarn and my first bid of $38 for 2* in Riverside-San Bernardino was accepted at La Quinta. Regular price was $99.
  20. 2.5* "Best Value" in the Central Palm Springs zone. I don't see this hotel in your list. I used your BetterBidding link to purchase. Caliente Tropics Resort 411 East palm Canyon Drive Palm Springs, CA 92264 Boutique Complimentary Breakfast Pool Restaurant Tennis
  21. A couple days later I tried to get this La Quinta again. When I bid $31 I got a counteroffer. When I bid $32 I was accepted. I guess $32 is the low price here.
  22. One night accepted for a 2* hotel in the Albuquerque Uptown zone. I used the Savingsbarn.
  23. I saw another poster bid $42 for a 2* in San Bernardino and got La Quinta. I bid the same and got upgraded to the 2.5* Courtyard by Marriott in Riverside on University Avenue. This was for one night, January 26.
