  6. Hi. I am looking for something in the Del Mar area for August 11th - August 16th. I would also be happy in Carlsbad or anything on the North Coast or somewhat close to Del Mar. Looking for a 3 or 4 *. Thanks!
  7. Thanks for all your help and input, I appreciate it. I just ended up booking at The Hotel Hotel Pennsylvania for $242 a night. It is only 2* but it looks ok, we will see. Thanks again
  8. Thanks. What price point do you think I need to be at to get a 3* in NYC for this timeframe? Also, you had mentioned on another posting the site that has the Holiday Inn Midtown for $260 a night, I see that come up on the link you provided easyclicktravel.com, however, it shows that they take 48 hours to get back to you to let you know if you can have the rate. What kind of experience do you have with this site? Is it usually pretty reliable? thanks a ton. Cheers!
  9. Thanks for the message and sorry for bumping, I just am under a time crunch with the trip being this FRIDAY, Yikes! And, did I mention this is a trip for my boss! Anyhow, sorry. Since this is a trip for the bossman, I don't really want to split the trip. thanks for the feedback and sorry about my frantitic panic attitude. I have been watching these boards for weeks and following all of the great advice thinking that I would pick up something in NYC for a reasonable price. Thanks again!
  10. That's awesome, Wish I could get the same for the trip I am planning for my boss for NYC 09/15-09/22. I can not get anything on Priceline and have bid all areas up to $235.00 3*
  11. I asked for priceline suggestions, but didn't receive a single response. Does anyone have any hotel suggestions if priceline is just not an option and I assume it is not since no one replied.
  12. I have been trying to bid through Priceline on NYC for 09/15-09/22 for several weeks now without any success. Yes, I know it is prime time, but how much should I expect to stay to pay to stay in NYC at a 3* hotel during this time? I have bid all NYC locations up to $225 without any success. Again, this is 3* I would think I could find something for $225. I need to be in the city, can't do jersey or jfk, etc. thanks!
  13. yes, what you listed is what I get. now...to figure out what hotels they are?
  14. Hi. I am looking to find someplace nice to stay during this time. This is what came up on Hotwire, I need to figure out which hotels they are offering at the 3.5-4.5 star level. we are planning on going 7/26-07/28. here is the description 4.5-star hotel in Sedona This deluxe establishment offers its guests tastefully decorated rooms and many special touches. Boutique Hotel Property offers a distinctive, unique or eclectic atmosphere. Many boutique hotels are smaller, hip properties in an urban setting, or renovated hotels with historical flair. 3.5-star hotel in Sedona This distinctive establishment offers comfortable rooms, personal service and some upscale features the only info is that it has a pool and resturant. Please HELP!
