  1. I got the Hilton Garden Inn via Priceline Express deal for $80 a night 08/22/2014 to 08/24/2014 the "what you'll love" amenities were: Free Internet (in Room) Free Parking Swimming Pool
  2. I got the Quality Inn And Suites Anaheim 2.5* star via Priceline Express Deal Wed, Feb 11, 2015 Sat, Feb 14, 2015 it has the following amenities: Free Breakfast Free Internet (in Room) Swimming Pool
  3. I got this hotel Mikado via Hotwire for $84 for the date of 2/14/15 to 2/15/15 it was listed as a 3* star with the following amenities: Free parking Free breakfast Free Internet Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Internet access Golf nearby Accessibility Wheelchair accessible Accessible parking Roll-in shower Note* An additional identifier may be that it had a 60% recommendation or approval rating this may change in the future. There was also another 3* that was similarly priced a few dollars higher but it had a 75% rating and was in a different but nearby area I think North Hollywood that might be the Best Western Burbank Airport that other have posted about. Just noting that the two have different approval ratings at this time and not the same hotel.
  4. PRICELINE is NO better. I used there Express Deal tab and got this hotel for 105+Tx $123 and it was listed as a 3star, from recent visitor photos on Tripadvisor there is no way this property should be listed at 3*
  5. Ok I booked 3* @ $46/night Anaheim - Disneyland North with Hotwire for 02-24-2012 to 02-27-2012 and got the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Anaheim (South Walnut). This had the "recommended 85%" thumbs up so maybe that's a tell tale differentiator? 3-star Hotel in Anaheim - Disneyland North This Hotel features the following amenities: Smoke Free Rooms Guest rooms at this hotel are always smoke-free. Fitness Center Guests have access to exercise equipment; an additional charge may apply. Pool(s) Property offers at least one pool area; hours and dates of operation may be seasonal. Restaurant(s) Property offers at least one restaurant on the premises; hours and days of operation may vary. Business Center Guests have access to business equipment and services; an additional charge may apply. Laundry Facilities (self-service) <amenity names only please... not descriptions> High-Speed Internet Access Guestrooms are equipped with high-speed Internet access; an extra charge may apply.
  6. Here is some additional information regarding this booking. Here's my issue with Hotwire/Peppermill, from looking at what others have posted you can get Peppermill at 3.5* 4* and 4.5* each star level I thought put you in different accommodation from Montego rooms (standard room) all the way to the coveted Tuscany Suites. So I booked 4.5* and the next day I called Peppermill to see if I could request for certain room view. This is when I learned I didn't get the Tuscany Tower but rather the regular Pepermill Tower. The rooms are still nice but I just wanted to let you know just because you pick the highest rating of 4.5 it doesn't guarantee a room in the Tuscany Tower.
  7. Booked with Hotwire for Jul 15-17 2011 ended up getting Peppermill Hotel & Casino - Tower Deluxe $78/night plus tax $186.38 but the Hotel also charges a resort fee of $10 per night which they bill directly at the time of your stay so add another $20 to that gives a grand total of 206.38 Reno South - Reno/Tahoe Airport area hotel Casino Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services
  8. that's awesome. I stayed there via PRICELINE and it was a great stay. keep in mind there's a resort fee and I believe a parking fee that's not included. If you revisit this thread can you share over how many days did it take to bid, counter, bid again etc. thanks.
  9. I'm also seeing a 3* for Disney North for $69 but it appears to be the one with suite, breakfast, fitness, pool, and laundry. Any help on this one. I saw it for the date of 9-25 to 9-28. I thought maybe Holiday Inn too but would they have listed Hi Speed Internet then as well?
  10. After Staying at this Holiday Inn Palms I have to agree with the 2.5 star rating. While this hotel is in fact close to disney it is just over the overpass and not really where all the action is. Add to that the proximity it is to the freeway and the freeway noise and you have to dock this property that half star. The service was good, the property was nice, the wireless high speed internet was welcomed. Their shuttle service was only hourly after 10am and our location put us out of range to the little red city shuttles that most of the other hotels had access too. All in all I would prefer to stay on the other side where all the other hotels are.
  11. I needed a Disney hotel for Jul 29-31 and found this 2.5 star Hotel from Hotwirefor $64night. Could not find an exact match here to figure out what hotel it was so maybe this is a new find but it ended up being the Holiday Inn at 1221 SO. HARBOR BLVD which is very close to Disney in fact when you sort by distance its listed first. From the photos at holidayinn.com for this property it looks more like a 3 star. Amenaties listed were Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Laundry. Hope this helps someone.
