  2. I just got my NY bid accepted today, which is why I never updated it. I have family coming in and they are going to Philly, NY, DC, and Atlantic City. I'm using Hotwire for a few of the Philly days, other days are for a wedding room block. I just got them NY rooms. Now I'll work on priceline for DC, but AC I'll probably just do direct booking.
  3. I had been trying constantly just about every other day, FINALLY got something today Bid: MTW : $130, $140, $145 MTE : $130, $140, $145 MTS : $130, $140, $145 MTW and MTE $155 ... accepted MTE 3 Rooms for 6/22 - 6/25 4* Grand Hyatt EDIT : For some reason I can't edit my first post and title.
  4. I know when I bid for NY I always bid 4* on priceline because there seems to be a big gap in quality. But in the Philly area and suburbs I've bid as low as 2* because I know the hotels are really nice. Are 3* hotels in DC areas (Dupont Circle, Whitehouse, Capitol Hill) still decent options? Or should I stick with 4*?
  5. Bid MTE - $140 MTW - $150 UWS - $155 UES - $160 MTS - $170 All rejected. Will try again in a day or two. I saw some recent wins for around these prices, so I gave it a shot
  6. Bid history: Start with MTW - $115 rejected - $125 rejected - $135 rejected Close brower, reopen. Select MTE - $110 Rejected - $120 Rejected - $130 Accepted
  7. Used the link provided above. Tried last week and earlier this week, with bids upto $115 and rejected. Last night: - $65, rejected - $75, added zone, rejected - $85, added zone, rejected - $90, added zone, accepted I was hoping to get the Hyatt at Penns landing, since that seemed the most popular for 4* priceline hotel in Philly, and I already had reservations there ($249). Got Loews instead but for $90 vs $249 can't really complain, since I'll only be in the hotel for a little.
