Bid $55 for 3*for newark airport 5/2/2004 accepted Marriot @ newark Liberty Hotel. Bid $55 first bid accepted, i had check Hotwire and most 3* were $65-69. I did not have time to rebid in 72 hours so went with $55 Pride $55 + Tax 14.50 total $69.50

The reason I had posted my comments about Westin is that I had started to look for dates in late March and early April , and I did not see the Westin coming up on the Hotwire website. It is was very easy to spot and pick out. 3.5 stars and only resort in DT Vancouver. While I was planning dates it never came up. Has Hotwire removed resort from its description? I will keep trying, thanks for your help and advice Rainman

I am planning a trip to Vancouver in the next 3-4 weeks . In the past I have stayed @ Westin Bayshore back in October. As I review hotel list, I now see that Westin Bayshore and Westin Whistler have been crossed off the list. Has Westin severed relations with Hotwire?? Thanks Rainman

I was doing some research on Hotels for Las Vegas , Orlando and Newark. I went to Expedia to check out hotel prices and the Hotwire Banner is popping up next to most of the hotels. Our these the hotwire prices for these hotels? I know that Expedia was just purchaised, were they bought by the same people that own Hotwire? Any thoughts?? Rainman

argyle, I booked a 3.5* hotel in Montreal on Hotwire for 11/5-11/9. Hotel was Novotel Montreal rate was $57 Hotel ammenities were Restaraunt and Business Ctr. Hopefully this information will help.

I tried to get 4* @ 45 rejected first bid added another zone rejected @$50 Waited 72 hours tried 3* @50 and was rejected. Went to Hotwire and booked 3* @$57, after awhile and effort sometimes Hotwire is just easier. Novotel Montreal was hotel i booked. Resort logo is key to identifying this hotel Very nice hotel located right on Vancouver Harbor. Nice rooms , with very comfortable beds. No views for Hotwire price. This was my second stay at this hotel using Hotwire
