I am thinking the Westgate??

1st bid Downtown 4* $75 rejected. Added 4* Chula Vista/Mexican border and upped to $90 (there are no 4*'s). Bid accepted. I usually use HOTWIRE because I can pin the hotel better, but this will work. A little far from the ballpark, but I am sure the property is nice (crossing my fingers for Omni). It is $199 on Expedia, so great deal :) I used the PRICELINE link on this site. THX!

Ahhh...it is the Se. THe Marriott, Hilton, Omni, and Solamar all are very nice down there. I have stayed at all of them, and they are not like the usual Marriott's, etc. The Solamar might be the last on the list--but more "boutiqey", but the others are really really nice. I think the US Grant is in the Downtown area anyhow--not in the Gaslamp area for Hotwire.

My friend got the Hilton for $84, and then wanted another room today and got the Omni for $115. Both are fitness, pool, dining, business center, and wireless. Both are FANTASTIC hotels. I always use the links here to book!! She did not :) Sorry!

If anyone figures out what this 4.5 is in the Gaslamp, pls report it! I am dying to know..... I cannot really think it is the US Grant? I have stayed there and it cannot be better than the Marriott, Solamar, Hilton, or Omni that are the 4*'s????

Yeah! I like all the 4*'s but was worried it was the new Sheraton they just put on that is a little further from the ballpark.... 4* SD--Gaslamp, Convention Center, 5/6 $95--total $112. Fitness, business, pool, HS Internet, restaurant USED THE HOTWIRE LINK ON THIS WEBSITE :) Solamar. ALSO, Hotwire has given me a Hotwire Express Preferred Card? I called and it is because I use them alot. It lets me change my plans for credit if I need to. NICE!

I doubt that Solmar would be a 4.5*...... It has a pool, so, if it is one of the current 4*'s that got upgraded it would be the Omni, Hilton, or Solmar.... Or, the Hard Rock just opened down there, so maybe it could be the Hard Rock? i am vewry interested on the outcome of this one!

There is no way this is a 4* property. It does not even compare to the other 4*'s in the area!!!

I would bet it is the Mondrion. Graet location in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. Graet restaurant and bar. Wonderful fitness room. A/C sucks, so just do not go in the summer. It is a renovated HoJo. THey did a nice job. Very hip.

Put in $85 4*. It said raise by $22. W hotel. Great hotel! Got for $107. Used the PRICELINE link on the website. VERY glad they moved Sheraton to 3.5* as that hotel is far from downtown, and all of the other 4*'s listed are not!

I have had both Solmar and Hilton come up as Customer Favorite. Both are fantastic hotels and are within a block of each other.

Hyatt downtown 4* fitness, pool, restaurant, high speed internet, business center. Expedia has this at $255. Great deal. It is more like a 3.5*, but I am not complaining. YES I USED THE HOTWIRE LINK FROM THIS SITE!!!

Hyatt downtown $69 for 2 nights 9/26-9/28. 4* Fitness, pool, restaurant, business center, high speed internet. This is $255/night on Expedia!!! Holy cow! Rates for PHX seem to be going up about then so I got nervous and booked. 4* downtown usually gets to $64 at the lowest. YES I USED THE HOTWIRE LINK :)

Solamar-- fitness, pool, restaurant, business center, HS internet. I also got this room through Expedia before they had a 4* on HOTWIRE for $149 on 8/25, so you are not saving a whole lot, but love this hotel. Great pool and rooftop bar. Excellent price. YES, I used the HOTWIRE link on this site!!!

Fitness, high speed internet, pool, business center, restaurant. On Expedia it is $109, I am saving $90. Great deal! You will be happy I used your HOTWIRE link. It was $66 yesterday, and I just looked again and it is back to $66.

No....and the pool aws up and running. Regardless, all 4* in Gaslamp are great..... Marriott, Omni, Solmar, and Hilton. can't go wrong with any of them! They are fantastic.

FITNESS, RESTAURANT, and BUSINESS CENTER. I know they have a pool--and cannot imagine them renovating it in the middle of summer??? WEird.

This is weird.....ammenites came up with no pool, but it does have a pool, and usually has pool in amenities. 4* gaslamp is Solmar, Hilton or Omni with pool. Without pool is Marriott, so I got tricked on this one.

This hotel has gotten pretty bad. Stinks. No way a 3* or in the class that Hyatt and Wyndham are. I use HOTWIRE now--the 4* "should be" Hyatt.

I used HOTWIRE instead of PRICELINE this time as I want to be close to the ballpark, and I noticed that the Embassy Suites Biltmore is now on the Priceline list for downtown PHX and it is FAR from downtown. I guess Hyatt is now a 4*? But was a 3.5* on this list. $123--and on Expedia it was $269! So score for me :) 4*, FITNESS, POOL, DINING, BUSINESS, HS INTERNET

Non smoking, fitness, dining, business, internet, customer favorite. 4/25 $142 4*. MARRIOTT GASLAMP NOTE: No pool usually means it is Marriott Gaslamp. Beautiful hotel.

Westin is actually a better location and very nice :) I know it is not the W but it is a great hotel.

FYI.....it looks as if they have now lumped SCOTTSDALE into 1 big area. It used to be "Scottsdale" and "North Scottsdale" which was very helpful. With just "scottsdale" I am not sure if I will end up in the boonies of North Scottsdale and not in "Old Town!" BUMMER!!!
