  1. That's new actually. Expe.dia and Tripadvisor rated this hotel, only 2 days ago, as a 2,5 star hotel. I've even sent pictures to them with that rating.
  2. They replied, and I really didn't like their answer: "We stand behind our star ratings and promise that no matter what star rating you book, you can expect a clean and private room in working order when you check in to a hotel booked with Hotwire." Basically they are saying that whatever any other site says doesn't matter, and only their rating matters. In my point of view, since Hotwire is an opaque provider, we only know two things going in: the star rating and the region of the hotel. That's their only engagement to us. If they choose not to honor that, then I just don't thrust them anymore. They are saying they can do whatever they want and I have nothing to do as long as I receive a clean and private room. Sincerely, Daniel
  3. Before I forget, this are the amenities found on Hotwire's site: - Free Parking; - Free Breakfast; - Free Internet; - Fitness Center; - Business Center; - Self Service Laundry; - Internet Access; - Accessible for the blind; - Accessible for the deaf; - Accessible path of travel; - In-room accessibility; - Accessible bathroom; - Handicapped parking; - Roll-in shower; Daniel
  4. My first time with Hot.Wire, and this time I'm definitely not pleased. This hotel - Holiday Inn Express - is listed everywhere (Expe.dia, Tripadvisor) as a 2,5 stars hotel, but Hot.wire sold it as a 3 star hotel! The other 3 star properties from your list are much nicer then this one. Better location, much better rooms, better amenities... Plus, the hotel e-mail doesn't even work! Can they do this? I've already posted a complaint and would like a refund. I would be glad with any 3 stars hotel, but I didn't get one. Sincerely, Daniel
  5. Hello, Just won this Hotel on Priceline.Express, after clicking on your PRICELINE link. It wasn't listed anywhere on your listings (Priceline or Hotwire), so I was a bit surprised. But I'm very happy anyway because the published rates of this hotel for your period start at $ 315,00. Plus, it is very well rated on Trip Advisor, so I'm sure it will be good. Listed amenities before buying were: - Indoor or Outdoor Pool; - Pets Allowed; - Free Parking; - Free Internet; - Free Breakfast;
  6. Sure! This were the amenities I saw: - Free Internet - Outdoor Pool - Pets Allowed - Fitness Center - Restaurant - Business Center Daniel
  7. Just got this deal on PRICELINE EXPRESS, after clicking on your website link :). The Trump wasn't my first choice, but the difference was huge for 10 nights. Got an extra 5% using the Metro6 code. Interestingly, I tried to "Name My Own Price" and went up to 86 dollars (the price I paid after the 5% discount on the Express) but I didn't came through. Instead, Priceline gave me a counter offer of $ 99,00. I was tempted to see if by any chance the $ 99,00 hotel would have been something different then the Trump, but I would have been very disappointed to pay $ 140,00 more then I could have. What do you guys think? Should I have took a bet? Is there any chance they would offer the Trump at a more expensive price through bidding then through Express Deal? Anyway, the price was excellent and I'm happy :). Daniel
  8. Hello, Following the same procedure to click on your Priceline link, I won a night at the Crowne Plaza for $ 90,00. A good 22% reduction over the best rates on the web. Daniel
  9. Hello, After clicking on BetterBidding's Priceline link and using your rebidding strategy I won the Sheraton Los Angeles Downtown for $ 113,00. Best price available for this hotel on the same dates is $ 211,00, so I got a 46% discount. I'm very happy! First time I use Priceline! Thank you very much for your website and tips! Sincerely, Daniel
  10. Hello, I'm planning a trip to Las Vegas from September 3rd to September 12th, and was looking for a 5 star hotel deal with Price.line. I've noticed that Price.line recently removed Strip Vicinity North. Does this means that now the Trump is part of the Strip North? Is there any way to avoid the Trump now? Only with the PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals or Hot.wire? Same question for Vicinity South. I would be OK with any hotel but the Vdara… is there a way to avoid it? Finally, is it too soon to start bidding? Sincerely, Daniel
