I just bid and got a two day rental for $12/day=compact car.

Please let us know how it goes. I just cashed in some frequent flier miles for Dec. to Key West. I have just started looking for hotels. Key Largo was my first choice also since it is right in the middle. Hope it goes well for you.

I don't know if this is where I should report this, but friends just came back from Toronto (Sheraton). they have the Sheraton Centre for $61 Feb. 16-19. This was great, but they also had to pay $29.00 per day to park. The great price makes up for the cost, but I thought everyone should know about this.

I am a newbie to bidding and just recently found this and the "other" site. I found this site much more helpful and friendly. I don't know what I am doing half the time and the constant reproach on the other site made me nervous. I am glad to read these posts to see that I wasn't imagining it. I just want to thank everyone who takes the time to help out us newbies.

Great! Thanks for letting me know about it. I have read some so-so reviews and some really great ones. I have to call them to request two double beds because we are taking our daughter with us. Do you think this will be a problem? You can only request for two people with Priceline.

My dates are June 23-25. I bid $150 (actually my husband tried the $150)first, then 170, then 180. This was our first experience. I think we even remembered to go through Savingsbarn. We are flying from Detroit to Kona and didn't have luck with Priceline on flights, but this forum has helped tremendously with information!

I bid on Sunday for a 4* hotel in Kamuela for June and got it for $180(after several attempts). It turned out to be the Hapuna Prince Beach Hotel. I bid for two rooms and it worked! This was my first attempt at Priceline and we were thrilled.

I just got two rooms at the Hapuna Prince on the Big Island for $180. This was for June though.
