This is the time of Hamvention. Every hotel in the area will be VERY near capacity and everything north will be full at near rack rates. I highly suggest booking a cancellable backup reservation.

Have won 4* downtown in the past (on weekends) bidding $45 and $50. It must be busy this weekend, because I had to bid $50-$53-$56-$60 to win this time. Free re-bid zones abound in Columbus if you're seeking 4*! Used the PRICELINE link at the top of the forum to start bidding (I wasn't a member at the time). Happy travels!
