Have just reserved through savingsbarn link 3 star san diego coastal 7 April to 11 April 2006 $102 instead of $159 on hotel.com website where it would seem a lot of the retail prices come from. Hotel is Sea Lodge on La Jolla Shores Beach. Very pleased didnt want badly reviewed La Jolla Cove Suites. Thanks again for your great website.

Have just booked 4 star south strip for 12 april for 2 nights. It was the Mgm Grand. $86 per night plus tax. Pleased with the deal as hotel is Child Friendlyand 4 star. Just need to try and get 2 double beds in room now. Will e-mail the hotel. Wonder if they will identify my hotwire booking from quoting the hotwire booking confirmation no. The price that was is the price crossed out on hotwire, presumably the normal retail price. The other price is the current hotwire price. In this case both have decreaed, which made me wonder if this indicated a change of hotel.

4 star south strip dissappeared for a couple of days and has now re-appeared as same facilities - Casino, Restaurant, Pool .Fitness Center. Spa Services, Golf Nearby,Tennis Nearby,Business Center. But price has changed to was $124 now $88. Do you still consider this to be MGM Grand?

Please advise if I put in 2 adults 1 Child on hotwire room is $94 was $139. Same for 3 Adults. If I put in 4 adults room is $94 was $159. This implies a better room. Looking for a 4 star strip hotel ok for mum, dad and 12 yr old son. Could book circus circus or excalaber but would there be a chance of better for less than say $90 per night dates wed 12 apr thru fri 14 apr (2 nights) Would child bedding arrangements be guaranteed within cost? i.e 2 double or a camp bed?

Hyatt regency la jolla also charges a lot for car parking, really getting too expensive. Has anyone got any suggestions?

Looking for somewhere not overlooking a freeway or stadium as per 3 star hotels in shelter island zone (holiday inn express) or mission valley (holiday inn select hotel circle). yet within striking distance of seaworld and san diego zoo. (picturesque setting). Will have a car for a 10 mile trip say. What is the 4 star property you mention do you expect? Do you have any other suggestions?
